I vote all the little kids for President. Undefeatable.
But thank God my mum was never inspired to put a gele on me as a kid, I would have been irritated lol. Not easy being a mum to a stubborn kid. Not easy being a stubborn kid who doesn’t like silly costumes except when she’s acting or something.

Near the end of the photo set, I started seeing some diversity in the gele styles. Kudos to all the models for that.
It’s none of my business, but it is nice to have different styles – remember when geles were intergalactic and multidimensional lol, and what’s her name that was Madam The Madam (Madame Kofo, of the American Dollar Club) in Basi and Company (ah, the young ones won’t know what we’re talking about) had a gele academy or something, google.com.ng/search?q=madam+kofo

I do not want to be critical of how anybody dresses their child, however, I have to give an opinion on that first pic. She is a pretty girl, but i am not in support of any parent who dresses their child above their developmental level. She might be wearing light makeup, but i won’t comment on that. Curse me or not for bringing this up, but they are predators everywhere, especially in Nigeria where you hear news that it is people whom you trust are the ones causing harm to your children. The sad thing is that 90% of the time, the deed has occurred, and there is no rewinding time. Dressing your child like an adult calls for some unwanted attention. I believe you can dress her up without overstepping her age. Besides she is a very pretty girl, and I see no reason why attention should be taken away from her face.

i’m just too amazed……. these days you hardly find styles all you see are flowing gowns as if you are going for a mtv/channel o award shows….. haba girls should fear God na.. how can you wear something like this to somebody’s wedding http://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/image2.aso-ebi-asoebi.jpg or no wonder bride’s these days sell 2 to 3 yards for asoebi yet girls ll still find material to cut and join… some will even wear white. Who be the bride who be d asoebi ladies? it will be difficult to find…. some ll even sew the ones that have tails like this http://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/@[email protected]_.aso-ebi-asoebi.jpg Na wa is all i can say…… this is my opinion any one dat curses me back to sender a zillion times
