    I’ve heard people call this guy a music legend and sometimes I wonder if he can even survive the first round of American idol.

      O please, even james brown wouldnt have survived idol, but guess where he landed in history….. legend is a function of many attributes, one of which is surviving times and seasons in your field!.

      I wouldn’t call him a legend, however compared to the Nigerian musical lot he’s probably one of the better artist. But like any skill set he needs to continually hone his musical talent else it erodes. I’ve heard better from 2baba

    American Idol is a whole different show – i wonder if anyone on who has got through to live shows can do justice to a Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obi, Fela, Tuface, Onyeka, Omawuni or Fally Ipupa song !

    People choose who they want to love and who they want to crap on. They choose to love TuFace regardless of the quality of his music and seeds from multiple ovaries. They choose to hate or dislike Dbanj….for whatever reason.

    Just do you…dont live for validation from others.

    even though I have love for this guy that doesn’t mean I should overlook his flaws relative to his exceptional contemporaries because a good musical voice is a phenomena which any human can easily pickup. if a Chinese, Finnish, Zulu or Spanish native song is sung by a beautiful voice you will naturally know it. we all have the opportunity to improve in everything we do because if we celebrate mediocrity we are seting a bad standard for our youth.

    Legends in music did something different and people liked it. So next time while wondering why people like his songs think about that.

    TO ME O, THIS IS A FALLY IPUPA SONG. HE ONLY BROUGHT TUBABA IN TO HELP LIFT IT. WHAT I SEE. I THINK TUBABA IS JUST ‘ON CALL’ AT THE MO’, HELPING PROMOTE OTHER ARTISTS WHILE RESTING AT THE SAME TIME. I’M SURE HE HAS A PLAN……….

    Love TuBAba, but Haba. The song is Ok. But a song with three lines should have stronger dance hall beats. Cos thats what the song is best for.
    And the video director no try at all;
    1st she forgets her jacket in the office.
    2nd she goes to the waterfall with her work cloths.
    He wore track suits in the morning on her way to work, wore same till evening. Haba, im no baf, change clothes. Reminds me of his video where he was accused of not bathing.
    Then collecting her phone and flinging is rude. Then she laughs, Hmmm, Mba oooooo
    Please mediocrity chokes talent.

    Is not all about making hit song with no single sense like psquare. This guy is number one, he is so special n differenr from others entirely. People always rethink before u judge, u cannot compare tuface to any other nigeria artiste. He is simply de best of our time. Carry go tu baba, ujah bless no man couse.

    I wonder why people don’t want real music anymore, all they want is noise an d beats, truly 2face songs may not be that interesting and loved by all, but t he few who understand the meaning of music will understand, music is all about passing a message across to the people, take it or leave it, 2baba’s music, his music teaches more of sense and matured compared to wizzy, d’banj, p’sauare. He is a legend, if you like beef from now to next year, he is maing it and your hear beefing his progress
