Last Thursday in Lagos, Oral B – the Procter & Gamble (P&G) oral hygiene brand, was adjudged the “Quality Toothpaste of the Year” in the African Quality Brands Awards (AFRIQBA) in a ceremony organized by the Quality Management Institute of Nigeria in Lagos.
AFRIQBA is aimed at recognizing and rewarding individuals, organisations and brands that are adjudged to be delivering quality products/services and have excelled when measured against the framework of excellence throughout the West African region.
The organizer of the award presented the award to the Assistant Brand Manager Oral B, Afolarin Ojo, on behalf of the manufacturer of Oral B, Procter and Gamble Nigeria.
Folarin while picking up the award said it was a thoroughly deserved award for the brand, given the amount of work the P&G team has put in place to ensure the best quality.
A guest lecturer at the event, Rotimi Adeyeye who is also the Managing Director of Positive Impact, a consulting firm to Quality Management Institute of Nigeria, commended Procter and Gamble for a job well done and encouraged it not to rest on its oars.
