Buhari Part 2

This is fast becoming a trend isn’t it? Another man is currently walking a significantly long distance in honour of president-elect Muhammadu Buhari.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the man, Abubakar Duduwale, has set out for a walk from Yola in Adamawa to Abuja.

He told newsmen in Yola on Saturday at the onset of the walk that the adventure was to express his joy over the emergence of Buhari as president-elect.

Duduwale, from Yola North Local Government Area of Adamawa and Chamba by tribe, reportedly began the journey at Yola Gate on Yola-Numan highway at about 6:30 a.m.

He said he had wanted to start the journey a day after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced Buhari as a winner but somebody from Lagos pre-empted him.

“The reason why I am trekking from Yola to Abuja is to express my joy and solidarity with President-elect Muhammadu Buhari.

“I want to trek from Yola to Abuja to witness the inauguration ceremony of President elect, Duduwale said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that Suleiman Hashimu, a supporter of Buhari had earlier undertaken such walk from Lagos to Abuja which he concluded recently.

This walking stuff that is emerging should seen from a development angle like a contribution of daily task to nation development. Taking a walk from Yola to Abuja involve taking action and not procrastination, it involve commitment and not giving up the way. Lots of orientation ideas can generated here which worth celebrating.

If people had jobs/were enrolled in education/had lucrative businesses, they wouldn’t have all this time on their hands.
I hope the new administration will help me and my fellow Nigerians stop wasting our times trekking from place to place.

Pls may I request that all APC members shld start trekking frm their destinations to Abuja. Y has dis man chosen to live on another man’s idea and vision? Dis isn’t funny. ‘cos he heard the celebration and accolade suleiman had after his long walk this one decided to do his. U all may applaud him and give him all the accolade buh I won’t. Itz only the first initiator of this idea Suleiman I appreciate nt this Yola guy. He Better goes back home and sleep. Very soon another person will trek from Ghana to Abuja. I hope suleiman is given a better recognition than this Yola man. Mr. Abubakar (the Yola man) I hv dis question for u. Now that you’ve trekked from Yola to Abuja what d’yu want the president-elect to do? Give u money? A job? Fix u among his cabinet? Or what? We knw all ur tricks. I ‘LL also suggest u also trek back to Yola to really show u r happy for him.

What you cannot do, too lazy to do, you want to bully/prevent others from doing from your rubber keypads ikwa? All this your adjectival clause of discouragement cannot stop the dude. He is full of belief in himself which most people lack and committed to a task which he wants to see fulfilled badly. The sport of trekking is not for the lily levered, the quitters and the frolickers, it is for the strong, the brave, the passionate, the goal getters and the risk takers. Whatever the motive let him trek and even trek back to Yola, o gbasara gi, is it your business? Abubakar Duduwale please trek on, we are wishing you merry trekking and happy arriving.
