Unidentified gunmen on Tuesday abducted two of President Goodluck Jonathan’s maternal cousins named Patience Egbeni and Kate Eni.

According to The Nation, the gunmen stormed Akimpelai, Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa State around 8:30 a.m. and seized the women.

An unnamed source told newsmen, “The victims are two maternal cousins of the President. We know that they have been preparing to welcome the President after the May 29 handover. Unless they are rescued before then, their dream of welcoming their brother will be a mirage.”

Confirming the incident, Asinim, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), said one of the victims, Egbeni, is 35 years old.

“The gunmen were dressed in military camouflage. They went to the provision stores of the victims at the riverside and abducted them into a waiting speedboat,” he said.

Efforts are currently being made to track down the culprits and release the women.

Gun men. I am begging you. This is not necessary. Release these people for their family. Don’t do evil. Don’t cause your generation to suffer like a woman who went to my pastor because she was still bedwetting as a married woman, God revealed the fact that her father was the father of armed robbers int he community and made some people cry. Vengeance cries out in the spirit rem. Jonathan lost the elections and that is ok. Peace has reigned, let the man be please. Don’t punish him. I am begging you all.

You are soo silly for even calling nemesis, so if you have no job you resort to robbery, kidnapping. Those you hustle their way through life are fools then!! A kidnapper and a robber is no different from a lazy fool, they want to get rich quick to impress people who struggled and worked hard to get rich. If any kidnapper or armed robber is caught #firing squad# because they swallow their conscience. I pray they come back home safe.
