I really don’t see the need for the inviting this singers, really the incoming administration has bigger issues to face right now than singing and dancing to songs . And let them use the money that will be used in paying this singers for more better things that will serve the interest of the general public. We are beginning to get too carried away by this inauguration when we have more pressing issues to contend with after this swearing in. Infact our economic situation is in a bad shape right now

Hmmmm technically they were invited by the outgoing Govt. Even when you look at the IV its written “President GEJ invites you to the blah blah” . So direct this to the outgoing Govt and not the incoming.

Nigerian government don’t use their brain sometimes. This is an inauguration, this is the time to showcase Nigeria in a positive and promising light. Is it shikini or oleku that they will be singing there. Really? Not everything is loud noise. Invite some old school singers, and younger artists who can actually sing well. Timi, waje, Chidinma or Omowunmi, Flavour but they all have to sing meaningful, hopeful songs play some bad instrumental etc Asa will even be good.

Please what are they going to sing??
I don’t think their style of music is necessary for the inauguration.
The likes of Praiz, Timi, Waje and other soul singers are ought to be their.

I wonder too. Why oh why, should Psquare be called to perform in an event like this?
Fancy Lil Wayne performing in the swearing-in of Barack Obama.

My tots exactly! Saw d twins n faze perform n I cringed. Apart from d lip synching, d jumping up dwn on stage n grabbing their nuts made me wonder if it was a formal event. They r gr8 performers but inappropriate 4 d event. We’ve got Timi, Asa, Waje, Dare e.t.c. A song could have being composed for the event.

Perhaps it was for the organisers. truly what happened to Timi Dakolo’s great nation, Kush’s Lets live together, Veno’s Nigeria go survive etc? even when beyonce performed at Obama’s inauguration, she wasn’t singing ‘all my singu ladies’ na wa to tuna O!

As a celebrity you can be called to come and perform even during first holy communion of under 12s and they will gladly turn up in white, grab their crouch and swing to the left to the right to the amusement or not of the kids. That’s their job. Anything that would pay money, celebs will not tun up. Turn down for kini

I would have prefered Yink Davies performing “Ko Oluwa Ko So” a prayer for the nation Nigeria. But P-Square? I do not mean any offence, but what do you guys out there think?

Waje, Praiz, Asa, Nneka, Timi then older generation KSA, Onyeka, Lagbaja but no in typical Naija style we never put our best or appropriate foot forward. No disrespect to those called but their inappropriateness made the entire ball and inauguration very classless.
