The Bauchi State government has re-possessed 22 vehicles in the possession of governor of Bauchi State, Isa Yuguda‘s wife.
Chairman of the Transition Committee, Senator Mohammed Mohammed revealed the news on Thursday at the Government House in Bauchi, Vanguard reports.
Mohammed stated that the recovery of the vehicles was in accordance with the directive of the committee to recover all items confirmed to have been allocated and due to be returned.

“We have so far, recovered a total of 22 cars from the wives of the former Governor, Isa Yuguda. We recovered 11 cars from his first wife, seven from the second wife and four from the third wife. We are yet to recover the remaining cars from his fourth wife who is currently out of the country.

We will ensure that whoever is in possession of government properties will be forced to return them. We urge public servants and the general public, especially those involved in the disposal and allocation of the property in question to cooperate with the committee for the effective discharge of its assignment,” he said.

According to the report, Governor Mohammed Abubakar has vowed to trace funds and property he says were looted during the tenure of the immediate past administration under Yuguda in the state.

Biko what is a woman doing with 11 cars??? Is she driving to heaven or hell??? This people should fear God o. Now I see why Meemaloso married the governor’s son Isa Yuguda. Probably she was expecting to get at least 5 cars.

I weep for Nigeria, cursed with an abundance of wasteful leaders… While they’re at, they shouldn’t forget to repo the cars from his concubines as well…

WOW!How can one person be soo greedy?Your first wife alone had 11cars!!!what was she doing with it?This is ridiculous and a shame!
Years down the line, their kids would get married in a lavish ceremony and we would ‘ooohh and aaahh’ over how extravagant it is..
It’s about time we shame and shun rather than celebrate.

I couldn’t agree more. It is us the citizens that oooohhs and aaaahhs about the wasteful and utterly extravagant lifestyles if thieves that ought to be ashamed of ourselves. Rather, public scorns should be heaped on them. Would we celebrate a thief who stole from the market or beat him up and hand him to the police? Almost all of our governors (especially the past) actively stole. Don’t celebrate them. Expose and deter them.

Olorun mi o. Nigerian lawmakers are clusters of oloshi and oloriburukus. Lakuli jalailu. Now if they lynch them in public, they will call people savages. Once I come to Nigeria I plan to create an elite assassin and scamming group that will go after corrupt politicians to scam and kill them. If they are destroying our lives we should also destroy theirs without remorse.

Ohhh Africa my supposed beloveth continent. How can we grow when a few individuals wickedly, greedily, stupidly amass soooo much wealth. Governor’s wife has 11 cars. She owns more cars than some car dealers. There is high unemployment, bad roads, below standard hospitals, high taxes only for some to lavish wealth. Chaiiiiiii. Don’t just seize, charge hubby for theft and wifies as accomplices.

As other bloggers proposed we need to shame these evil men and women especially when they brand those million dollar weddings on social media and other blogs. You see 29 year old Governors son or daughter throwing lavish weddings from which salary???
Please we Africans need to wake up and shun all these misappropriation of wealth, No platform is too small to ignite change. Enough is Enough.

When that Senator’s daughter got married recently (can’t remember his name, BN posted it), if I had said something like “this is where ALL our money goes”, someone would have said “why can’t you just be happy for her?” How can I be happy that she was wedded in such a lavish fashion when I know that there are some pple in this country that are nose-deep in poverty and wedding isn’t even an option for them. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy she’s probably married to the man of her dreams. But am I happy it’s at the expense of the masses? Hell no! Like someone once said, there should be capital punishment for corruption.
PS, I don’t see anything wrong with owning even forty cars or having the most lavish wedding on earth just as long as it’s with your hard earned cash and not stolen money.

I’m glad my people are more conscious now.,22 cars and still counting.i swear it is not limited to bauchi alone.i wish this can be done in all the states.they don’t want the change we voted for and Nigerians irrespective of our affiliation must denounce the NAAS elections.its another ploy to protect their interest cum the cabals and milk us dry.people who can’t see the double standard here should wake up

“Better a little with righteousness, than much gain with injustice” – Proverbs 16:8….

Nigeria leaders, isn’t it about time you realized that the only respect you have earned worldwide is the respect of the FBI,INTERPOL and other world security agencies for your ingenuity at crime
Of all things to be greedy over, its cars!..Depreciating assets for that matter. Disgusting!!
