I always say we Nigerians are a special breed of people. BVN notices have been everywhere (print media, social media, TV, every freaking where) for over a year…infact my bank wanted to drown me in reminders. We had a year to take care of this but as the special people that we are, we waited till theblast minute. SMH. I wish they didn’t extend the deadline. When October 31st comes, you will see the same people crowding banks and begging for more time….come on people

This isn’t just about the customers, CBN/ banks haven’t made arrangements for account owners in diaspora. They were meant to set up registration points at Nigerian Embassies around the world, but haven’t done so till date. They also had one year to do that, but of course….

I am not talking about the people in diaspora. I am talking about the thousands of people that crowded the banks today

So why not extend it just for those in the Diaspora? Or have all those folks crowding the banking halls this week just flown in from the Diaspora?! Abeg, let’s quit playing the Ostrich when we know that come October 31, there’ll be folks right here in Naija asking for extension to December 31. My people can procrastinate jare!

This is the fault of Jega and INEC. They should allow this people operate there bank account without There PVC. 14 million people out of 28 million has not collected their bank PVC. The collection in Kanu state is more than the collection in Lagos. There are trying to reduce the power of Lagos state in the economic of Nigeria. It is Fulani plan. Yoruba with suffer for support Bihari. Igbo do no need bank.

And what happens to those that live outside Nigeria. I thought we were in the internet age. Where everything is at your finger tips, just a push button or keypad away. Why is Nigeria way of doing things always so so different. Bitch better have my money when i get back.

A couple of months back my mum had told hubby and I about the BVN deal. We contacted our bank, we were informed that CBN was yet to set up anything for those outside the country. Last week, after my mum kept at it that we should at least send a letter to the branch manager before our money disappears. We called bank, that was when they sent us forms and asked us to fill it out and scan it back with other supporting documents. My point is just like most things in this great country of ours, the whole process was not well thought out, making implementation impossible.

Well I belive CBN should be more flexible in the handling of the BVN deadline because banks will loose its prominent customers to other banks. Moreso, its implementation should be seemless until the last customer completes his transaction. We should know that Nigerians are the busiest people on earth, the flaws in PVN registration should attest to it, if we want to capture all nigerian account holders in this process.
