Bisi Alimi writes ‘If there is anything like Hell Fire it is down in Nigeria where all Nigerians are roasting’

Poor guy is obsessed with Nigeria and sad that he is not accepted by his own people. Bisi, take heart. It will take at least a 100years before they accept you. Focus on loving yourself and living whatever life you have left on earth biko.

    • Seriously

      July 29, 2015 at 4:37 pm

And if there’s a place like hell fire it is where Bisi Alimi is roasting forever. This guy clearly hates himself. He lives in the UK with his partner but no he chooses to be obsessed with Nigeria. Leave Nigerians alone, you are in a place where you can be gay freely. What else do you want? He’s such an idiot, always seeking for attention.

Gays have hatred for those who don’t accept their perverted lifestyle. Why so bothered? Why don’t you just live ur gay life and keep it moving. It shows how much low self esteem they suffer from. It’s like a prostitute making it a mission to insult bcos people won’t accept the lifestyle. Go make your dollar, and live your life.

Just came across this, article..and you..Mr/Mrs Seriously, need to listen to the msg and not pay attention to the life of the messenger, he is saying it exactly is as it is..We cannot continue as a country like this. Our childrens children cannot inherit this country in this state. We have to act and make a change

Very good Mr Seriously. I admire your boldness. Mr Alimi the fact that you roasted and faced many obstacles while trying to promote your lifestyle does not mean that everyone is roasting. My friend’s friend has just given her green card up. She works for a very rich establishment in Nigeria and they sort out all visa and travel issues to whichever country. Her giving it up is not my focus here, that information is meant to buttress the fact that not everyone has your experience. Besides, who knows if it is the prayers of those you have given up on that didn’t make it all work for you. Many productive people who have move back are doing very well.
Secondly, I don’t know who gave you the impression that the God of the Bible told people to pray and not act. Go and read the book of Proverbs. Have you not heard anything about faith without works. Make you choice. If Niger is not for you, you don’t need to stay.

In 100 years he will still not be accepted!

What positive thing has Bisi achieved within his circle of influence? Homosexuality? Assaults? Insults? Blasphemy?
Always ranting and barking like a sexually deprived man! Get a wife if that will soothe you!
Looks like he is hiding some sexual dysfunction that being Gay can’t even help him!

Seek help bro, cos you aren’t gonna choke any one! Instead you sound choked!

Sweetheart, a century ago if you had lived in the UK , you would have had the exact words to describe the UK.. Nevertheless let me set you straight on certain things:

Nigeria is hard and sometimes ‘shitty’ but it is not the real hell o, HELLFIRE is real my dear, do not gamble on that..
I do agree that some Nigerians may be hypocrites but you cannot generalise and you cannot blame GOD for human act or failure to act .
I wouldn’t say stop praying, i will revise it as Keep praying, start acting, make demands.

And Bisi, you sef do something, let the change you desire start with you and my closing statement, Find Jesus, find Peace

Sweetheart a century ago there were no other civilizations for UK and others to use as a spring board. We’ve had the advantage of seeing other civilizations we have no excuse we should really hit the floor running but instead we are still at the anal stage bent over trying to figure out what to do with our genitals bumping into each other in a chaotic manner. Even monkey go soon organise before us. Jesus, God is within us. And there lies peace. People should automatically no the difference between good and bad. The minute you need a book to tell you the difference then you need to question what really is the force within you.

    Dear Mr Alimi,
God’s patience should not be mistaken for His lack of existence. While I agree with your point that prayer works when we work at it (the bible rightfully says “Faith without works is dead”). Does God support our leaders that are stealing??? does He approve of their bad management? I absolutely doubt that He does. Yes our leaders (and we the citizens) have to work but why ridicule God with your profanity filled post?

My dear, since Nigeria is f…..ed, you shouldnt care about protecting the identity of any TV station, so please release the name of the TV station. How come all his stories dont have locations and verifiable evidence. How come he is always the only one that gives account of such stories. You are in the UK where you can practice your lifestyle without any prejudice, so please stay there and enjoy your life and leave Nigeria alone. Liar!

I cannot be bothered to be disturbed by your post. Yes, a lot of people are expecting God to act when he has given us all it takes to make things work. However, tryna pull down a whole nation to make yourself feel good shows how low your self-esteem is. Great people never look down on where they came from. (Go and ask Obama). Anyways, I also can’t blame you. I’ll just save d million things i have to say to u. P.s a Lizard in naija can never transform to an alligator in obodo oyibo.

  12. A Real Nigerian

    July 29, 2015 at 3:49 pm

    Well said.
Nigerians are hypocritical, bigoted, hateful, overly lame, extremely petty, self-absorbed, malicious, simple-minded and myopic.
Too make things worse, they try too hard to appear super cool and high class by placing needless emphases on things as normal as owning a vehicle and travelling abroad.
The Nigerian society is one where mediocrity is accepted and encouraged, which is evident from the low quality of our entertainment industry, the bad state of education, healthcare and almost every service that should be available to an average citizen. It is even more evident from the rampant, unending and growing lawlessness that nobody seems to care about.
Prayers to a silent, invisible entity won’t solve anything, neither will “positivity” without any action or better still, good thinking.
The sooner Nigerians accept the fact that everything about their society and mentality are wrong and rotten, the better. But sadly, the average stone-headed Nigerian doesn’t like being told he/she sucks at what they do, and they have embraced blindness, pettiness and mental stagnation as a way of life.
Indeed, there is no hope for the progress of this wretched nation, bar something really really amazing and miraculous.
One can only hope that we hold on to our present sorry, sad state and not slip into something even worse.

…and so different opinions from so different individuals.

Was that what happened to you? you stopped praying and allowed the devil walk into your life. Yes Nigeria is hard, Yes we haven’t gotten it right because of the choices we’ve made and make as a people but even in this hardship and struggle i believe in a power wayyyyyyy greater than mine that has kept me and keeps me. you have internet, electricity, fuel and a lot of anger. if you had stayed and helped in contributing your quota instead of running off to be with your boyfriend who knows what you would have been able to help Nigeria achieve.

“DTruth”, my beliefs are my beliefs. They stem from my own personal encounters and a firm knowledge of who I am and the heritage I come from. And yes I do believe the message of the bible, and I do not think its a fairy tale book. And another thing, it is possible to disagree without being impolite. For example I disagree with your position that hell doesn’t exist. And I am able to do that without name calling.

The poor lost soul. He constantly screams that anyone who voices opposition to his ‘ways’ is ignorant yet he is blind to his own ignorance. If you don’t know anything about the Bible, best not speak on it or better yet – go read it. Does being a Christian mean that life is perfect and we can pray all our troubles away in an instant? No! Did the Israelites go through hardship despite being God’s chosen people? YES! But you learn that there is purpose in all God does, no matter how dire and desperate the circumstance. There is purpose in the way that we all grow and develop during ‘the waiting period’, there is purpose in the way that we gain testimonies following our trials which can help you stand during greater adversities to come. Believe it or not, there is purpose in Nigeria’s current stage of development – you do not know the kind of generation, leaders and positive mindset that all of this frustration is breeding. Tomorrow’s leaders, scientists, advocates, innovators will come out of our present struggles. So instead of being a negative complainer – be constructive and DO SOMETHING. Instead of disparaging and rejecting the land of your birth.

Bisi, this is not meant to be spewing hate at you. But clearly your life is neither happy nor positive (that much is clear from the tone and language of your diatribes). The choices you have made (whilst giving you some short-term ‘pleasure’) have clearly failed to lead to a happier life. If your lifestyle was the right choice to make, why do you seem so desperately unhappy? You and the Bruce Jenners of this world can try all you want and promote whatever you want, but you’ll always come back to that same sense of emptiness and unhappiness. I pray you find what you need.

@Godwin, It appears to be your truth, dont make it others. Fyi, read and learn, learn what is going on around the world. there are countless places around the world worse than nigeria. Your world is what you make it to be. Bisi may be in the Uk with electricity etc but yet if he is unhappy about his life, nothing can change it. There are people who wake up everyday in nigeria happier than people in the US or Uk. It’s your world make it what you want it. As for this Bisi fellow, he seems like a sad person who is unhappy that people have refused to accept his twisted lifestyle. Even as at a few years ago in the UK, gays were not even accepted. As at several decades ago even in the werstern countries that now accept it, homosexuality was treated as a mental health disorder.

Omo, for a country that is jacked up, no good, a verifiable bon fire of hell, Bisi you sure do love talking about it. Isn’t it this same country that gave you your name and put you on the map? Abeg, if you don’t like the place then stop speaking about it. Stay in your adopted homeland and change your name to William Foxwortham. Is your activism only centered around Nigeria? I know it began with your need to run from there and claiming asylum and persecution but I am SURE there HAS TO BE other angles to your struggle that you work on and leave Nigeria and Nigerians out of it.

E don do…we agree, we are everything you have said we are so much more….so NOW WHAT? Brother, you are not telling us anything we haven’t said about ourselves so what’s the new thing you’ve got going on besides piling abuse on the a jacked up country and a jacked up people? Its funny the way people read the bible and what they take away from it. Is it just me or does anyone else wonder what christ will think of the opulence of churches and the material wealth of pastors. Considering Christ was from very humble beginnings through out his life i just wonder what he thinks. I also remember the one time he was angry in the bible and throw ‘money profiteers out of his fathers house. What would he think of the amount of trading done in his name every sunday. i have always been drawn to that parable of the talents. Supposing the servants were replaced by countries , which one would nigeria be. Are we as a country creative like our Father, have we developed cures for diseases, fed the hungry, developed technologies to improve life. Or have we diligently attended church every sunday never graduating from bread and butter childlike understanding of the text and fully dependant on other countries to see us through. Just an open question. Deserving of an honest to goodness answer.
One thing i do believe is that people have the POWER to create their own hell or heaven. No one has the power to project their own HELL on anyone else. You live your truth. @ Bisi i believe you are living your truth and think you are at peace with it. Thats all that matters.

    July 29, 2015 at 5:27 pm

Mr… whateva, Hell by your definition is where there is lack of power supply and other technology to enhance life. Well, the last time I checked psychologically , Hell is when you are not generally accepted by your people, thereby, you’ve got no peace within you. Why do you think those (rejected) people commit suicide with all the so called provisions you regard as heaven on earth? Food for thought young man.

Stop deceiving people with your brain washing mouth u bisi !!!!
mind you that sodomy is is unnatural and the Almighty detests that. Now let me remind you that although we Nigerians are fallible, God still loves us and he rescues us whenever we call to him for help; take a look at the 2015 general elections and see how a huge disaster were averted by the contrite prayer of the children of God here. did you remember how America and other countries predicted Nigeria’s break up after the elections! you better turn to God now that there is time for you, because he still Loves you.
mind you, that you are successful now doesn’t mean the grace is forever, DO NOT JOKE WITH HIS MERCY! Don’t continue to live in sin so that grace may abound! When there is a delay of mercy and judgement, never take God for granted. You may be living in sin (fornicating, adultery, not paying tithe, homosexuality, lesbianism, etc.) but your hands seem to prosper or you may be living a life of disobedience and secret sin, even as the waters around you seem calm for now, but hear this(everyone): When God shows you favour time and again, it is for you to learn righteousness and beware(Isaiah 26:10). NEVER SCOFF AT GOD’S PATIENCE AND DO NOT JOKE WITH HIS MERCY! The devil is a liar! Hell is not MERRY. Watch and Pray

“It is well”; “God is on the throne”; “E go get Better”.

I refer to them as spiritual talisman and other short stories we tell to each other when we talk about the way things are in Nigeria. Nigerians are mostly in denial and we hide under these well worn clichés to show our firm alignment with God; the all time miracle worker, who through some supernatural wonder would come and purge our country. He alone can do all things. After all, God does things that no man can do. Conveniently (seemingly) absolving us from any responsibility for what is happening or to change what is happening.

We can say anything because its a free global village. It is obvious where you have cast your lot. Do not however have any opinion where you do not have any responsibility; and from this day henceforth be cautious about what you say, tweet, blog or write about Nigeria. Do not hesitate to call out people who have erred, the provisions of Nigerian Constitution of course being the conscience of your argument; but do it with an exercise of sober critical judgment and not a kneejerk reaction to your frustration.

There has never been a generation that was more God obsessed. There has never being a generation that is farther from God. I firmly believe in God but I am also firmly grounded in the reality that the change we seek would be wrought by ordinary people whose only distinction would be a passion to build a Country with great global responsibility and position and be willing to sacrifice for it..

Bisi Alimi, I can assure you that whether in your life time or after it, the Country that you have so impugned will be one that will be much loved. We have arrived at the point called “fullness of time” and Nigeria will seek to take her place as a world power. A time is coming in Nigeria when people would be afraid to run for any office, because men will fear that they do not carry the sacredness that the calling of the office deserves. It will be that good and even better.

Snigger all you like and think I’m spewing bullocks, but let me ask you this: When a stone cutter has a rock he wants to break, he may hit it a 100 times, yet it looks as solid as it did at the first blow. The piece does not break off suddenly because of the 100th blow, it does because every blow delivered weakened it. Now watch and learn.

    Mrs.Sisi Bisi,
It is so obvious that you are burning inside, your spirit is in distress. Why won’t you leave Nigeria and Nigerians alone? When you were in Nigeria, did you have 247 electricity, water running, etal? Not only is your lifestyle an abomination; and you are also FAKE to top it up. Your heart burns because you know the truth so in order to make yourself feel good, you succumb to your empty wish that there wasn’t a God/ creator. If you continue to live this satanic lifestyle and die upon it, then you are guaranteed the seventh chamber in hell. You are one of those people God has promised that he will turn his back on. Don’t call this hate because it is not! If God says something is filthy, who are we to embrace it and call it good?

I always have a problem with Africans in diaspora that only condemn, yet they never come back to invest in the lives or growth of their countries. they are so many respectable doctors, professors, ivy league students in the US, but no one wants to initiate/enforce help/solution, everyone just want to criticize. I bet that is working well for anyone. I personally believe Nigeria is a great nation with time things will get better. we shouldn’t be consumed with others progress and forget our ability.

    July 29, 2015 at 6:45 pm

My fellow Nigerians … We too love to lie to ourselves.

Lets leave his sexuality out of this for a moment … I know it might be hard for some but I urge to push aside your religious beliefs for a minute. What has he said that is a lie? That Nigeria is hell on earth for the average citizen? Omo, lets stop lying to ourselves. No healthcare, no electricity, below-average schools (average self is dash we are dashing ourselves), no jobs, death-traps masquerading as shelter/housing.

He has a point (he might have phrased his rant better) but to deny that he has a point is to …. continue to co-sign the misery existence of most of our brothers/sisters in Nigeria. But then again this is a country where we continue to celebrate corrupt leaders/tactics because who knows? – one day it will be “my/my brother/sister/father/mother/friend” turn to eat a piece of the national cake –

I only found out about this vomit inducing guy a few days ago. Now don’t get me wrong, his sexual or gender identity is absolutely his cup of tea. I find him vomit inducing cos he has so much bile in him. I get that he might be bitter and angry but what he fails to realize is that the same way he has a right to be gay, straight or bi, people have a right to their opinions and they have a right to accept or reject whomever they choose.

I will not label a person a demon because they refuse to love/accept me, it’s their loss, their choice and most importantly, their right!

He can push his agenda without attempting to paint black an entire country, with sons and daughters scattered all over the world.
I’ve take it upon myself never to badmouth Nigeria, especially as I am not currently in any position to help. Americans recognize all the things that are wrong with their country but whenever they are outside of America, the first thing they say is “I’m American” with pride.
When one places value on something, you have no choice but to respect it.

Like my Aunt would say, if you call your own flower vase, people will help you water the flower inside; If you call your own dustbin, people will help you throw dirt inside.

India’s GDP is the 6th highest in the world and Nigeria’s the 21st.
The powers that be could take call centers to Naija. After all , “You speak so well, you sound British”, is what a lot of Nigerians with at least decent education, hear from Americans, whenever we speak.

(Don’t dare say India doesn’t have it’s own fair share of issues with safety, security, electricity, corruption etc)

If I meet 100 Australians and 90 of them speak poorly of their country, I’ll have no choice but to believe them and will not ever consider visiting the country, not to talk of investing one cent in their economy.

So dear Mr. I’m-gay-so-the-whole-world-will-not-hear-word-again, in your bid to get more Instagram followers or whatever rocks your boat, please remember that the young brothers and sisters that live in that “hell” need you to push ur gay agenda jejely in that corner over there without inadvertently pouring san san in their garri ok!

Selfish people who never think of anyone but their damn selves! Would you have died if you sent the TV station money for generator, or even 5pounds to buy fuel? After all they were willing to provide a platform for your attention seeking self to push your gay agenda.

This Bisi guy is just a sad, lonely and depressed soul. It’s so sad you can’t Come back to the “hell” of Nigeria cos it would roast you and your perversion!!!! Nigeria is not perfect but it’s our HOME!! We will get to the standard we are meant to attain soon. But while we work at that we will not pay any attention to agents of the devil like you. You better repent before you get thrown into the lake of fire cos that’s where you should be holing your skype interview.

A lot of truly irrational hateful comments here . As predicted by Bisi people spewing their hate overflow and choking on the rest of it. Bisi it is your country and you have every right to be concerned with the level of corruption ,I get it. I am also concerned. If you live in Nigeria and believe all is well then you are not patriotic. Sitting and watching people starve and suffer just because you can afford to live in a gated community is a betrayal to masses of suffering Nigerians, because all you are doing is bearing false witness against them by colluding with corruption. That is not christian. The problem with corruption is that it’s effects have the power to burst through gates made of steel. So yes you in your gated community are not safe, your hospitals infiltrated with fake doctors, fake pharmaceutical products. Justice system impaired by corruption. I will stand with anyone speaking , acting against these ills in society. Becsuse THE ENEMY OF MY ENEMY IS MY FRIEND. Some of the comments here are from people in the diaspora. So why are you abroad living in Exile if things are ok at home. I will stand with a homosexual speaking the truth than with a corrupt ruler syphoning billions of dollars into private accounts, attending church, mosque religiously. Hate has a way of blinding peoole to reason. Even Demons are religious shine your eyes.

    July 30, 2015 at 9:41 am

LMAO so why do you guys think getting a visa into uk or us or ANY DAMNED country for that matter is so very difficult for a Nigerian. is it because
    A. nigerians love their country. things are so good there, non of them really what to leave there paradise
    B. its a hot mess up in there. Niggers be selling their souls to get OUT of it.

As a very naija nigerian its so obvious the answer is A ;/. Yes o even the embassies no, that is why they give us special privileges when we queue up outside their embassies., offering us comfortable seats and handing out small chop. They all know we nigerians are so proud of our country, They sef no say if they relaxed visa restrictions We nigerians will not be moved. The very image of Nigerians in diaspora , Queuing outside embassies, even indian is a true reflection of how we nigerians love the way things are in our beloved country. Mr Bisi as a true Naija Nigerian i put it to you that you are a sad, miserable nonentity yes plus depressed even though your fine self states otherwise, but the devil is a liar. I dont understand why you are saying all these spiteful things about Nigeria. The WHOLE world and its parallel universe no that Nigeria is a great well accomplished paradise much like the Stalin -Era Soviet Union. So there is nothing that you can say that will further distort their understanding of Nigeria ( as if there image of Nigeria was distorted in the first place mchewww).I suggest you stay in where ever the hell hole you are because it is plain to every Naija Nigerian in this blog ( Well majority) that you are just jealous of this country and are trying to Destabilise our’ very stable not skewed in anyway lovely country’. Bisi you are jealous yes i repeat it again with the uttermost strongest conviction just because you can only get interviewed on that mushroom yeye local CNN station and cant get a sentence in, one of our truly international standard high spec station, here in paradise, that is what is really tearing your pink Tongs abi. please go and rest joor. nonsense plus is obvious that You are such a delusional liar thank God that the majority non delusionals can see through your lies.

ode lasan!, you might be an authority in Gay rights, taking it up the back door, and might have used that to cunningly get your 5 minutes of fame. leave us with our Nigeria, our Hope in God, and our praying and believing God would change Nigeria. before your very eyes, Nigeria would be great again. I’m a Yoruba Man, proudly Nigeria, and refuse to be defined by the deficiencies of a few (including you) and you are a disgrace to “us”. keep taking it up the ass, and you would go to the real hell.

All he said about Nigeria might be right in fact they are right, but the again when was the last time he visited Nigeria? what has he done to better the situation? how many volunteer works has he done in this country? None. It is always easy to want to change the world but bisi have you given a thought to changing yourself (not your sexuality) and actually bring add value to the Nigerian society. All i can see from this so called bisi alimi is someone looking for cheap popularity and a few following on social networks. Rather than stay in the UK and criticize us why don’t you do something about it. We know Nigeria is a hell hole but at least we stayed and we trying to make it better unlike folks like you who runoff to jand.thread softly the ground is slippery.
