The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) has reportedly invited Senate President Bukola Saraki‘s wife, Toyin Saraki, and late former President Umaru Yar’Adua‘s daughter, Zaina Dakingari, for questioning.

According to Punch, Saraki will be questioned over alleged shady contracts awarded during her husband’s tenure as governor of Kwara State. Dakingari, who is also the wife of a former Kebbi state governor,  will be interrogated  over alleged misappropriation of N2 billion state funds.

The report further states:

Toyin Saraki was said to be under probe in relation to several contracts executed by companies said to be linked to her while her husband held sway as the Kwara governor.

A source at the EFCC, who confided in our correspondent in Abuja, said, “The commission has invited the wives of two former state governors, Toyin Saraki and Zaiba Dakingari.

“Dakingari was supposed to have appeared before the commission on Wednesday (yesterday) but she sent a message that she was outside the country and would honour the invitation on July 27, 2015.

She is to provide an explanation in relation to N2 billion state funds.

The commission is expecting Saraki on July 28, 2015. The exact amount of money involved in her matter is not stated for now but she is to be quizzed in relation to various contracts executed in Kwara State when her husband was governor of the state.”

Look at you, how ignorant. You think Buhari signed off on all the propaganda going on now? Hv you not heard of the sec’ being more powerful than the boss? You think GEJ knew about all the atrocities during his regime? If you are my friend, if anyone looks at u funny. They are automatically my enemy. You get?

I like that he is starting with the Northerners so that when EFCC starts inviting he Southerners the our brother people won’t be able to turn it into a tribe issue. Not like all these thieves do anything for their tribes but the gullible ones will keep defending them in the name of “our brother”

You are the one making it triablistic with your comment. EFCC has not specifically focused on the North. IMO state ex governor was also questioned by the EFCC about 2 weeks ago.
