Didn’t her father stole a lot of money. ?☕️

Aregbesola didn’t steal money. He implemented way too many policies the state could not handle – free lunch food, free education, healthcare and laptops for school children for example. Not like Osun state gets a lot of money from revenue allocation. State went bust. It’s a case of good intentions gone wrong. I feel so sorry for him cos he really had good intentions. Now everyone thinks he’s a thief and his legacy has been tarnished.

Planless: Having no plan. Adrift, Aimless. Directionless. Rudderless. @blah blah, that is a short def’ of what you just described. Too many promises with no realistic/strategic plan of execution. The APC malaise?

@blah blah, pls don’t say what you don’t know about. pls ehn biko. free lunch, free text books, free education and free health care have been in place before his regime. my parents are teachers and they live in osun state. what are the good intentions you are talking about. my dad retired last year not even a penny yet and my mom who is till in service did not get her salary….. pls say what you are sure of! i am a final year student, it has really been difficult doing my project…. he has no good intentions pls!

And so it should be tarnished. That means he wasn’t fit for the role. He should be able to evaluate his policies as they go along or at least hire people who have the education or skill. Enough with the sob stories. This cannot happen in any developed country or in any country that wants to be developed. He can still throw a lavish wedding party for his child after doing a bad job and others are working without pay so he doesn’t need your sorry!

she looks like her father. husband is cute. serious question, why do yoruba muslims add a “t” to end of their muslim names?

    • Manny

      August 22, 2015 at 2:44 pm

My dear, is it only t? You forgot the u. Shakiratu. Rashidatu. Basiratu. I don’t know why but same na ni. Maybe it sounds more rhythmic. Same way as some francophones spell Abubakar as Aboubakar. Or Seynabou or Mahmoudou for Mohammed.

    • Bassy

      August 27, 2015 at 3:51 pm

lol, my name is Basirat but I think the t is silent. hate when pple called me Basiratu.

    • dimpled little freak

      August 23, 2015 at 7:16 pm

Because they are not literate in Arabic and the h at the end of the name looks like T when in fact it’s pronounced ahhh(h) so shakirat is pronounced shakirah

    • Bassy

      August 27, 2015 at 3:52 pm

I think you right cos my baby name is Zeniyah but some pple called her Zeniyat…

    • UmmiBee

      August 30, 2015 at 8:35 am

Nope. You’re mistaken. Many female Names from the Quran have a (Tu.) Ta marbutah ة at the end of them but according to tajwid, the Ta should be silent. It exists in many names but is kept silent. Like the name Fatima is spelt Fatimatu فطمة in Arabic but is pronounced Fatima فطم. They are not wrong for adding it. They’re just pronouncing it literally the way it’s spelt.

Has Aregbe paid the workers in his state? Before mumu people accuse me of not being happy for the bride and groom, this is about the bride’s father.

Mr man, pay your workers! I’m sure there are workers in your state who would like to celebrate their children’s weddings as well.

Anyway, happy married life to the bride and groom.
