Change the name to NMA Nigeria Movie Awards,
Nigeria does not represent the whole of africa
    Tah, God forbid.

And change the name Housewifes of Africa to Housewifes of Nigeria.

Sorry, I have a serious question… what exactly is this hatred/jealousy for/of Nigerians? I have seen Nigerians and Non-Nigerians win awards in the various categories of the AMA Awards. There was a particular year if i remember correctly when actors and actresses from other countries cleaned out most of the major categories.. Should we also ask the MAMA Awards organizers to change the name of the awards to MTV South Africa Music Awards? After all, Nigerians also won there. Desperate Housewives Africa cast members are not from only Nigeria. So what exactly is the problem? Please educate me, because I really want to know.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with what you’re saying, Tracy, Nigerians just hate being called out for their stupidity. How can you guys call it an AFRICAN affair and have 90% of all those involved be Nigerian? As in, of the 50+ country in Africa, they couldn’t mix it up a little? Mtcheeew! And I said the exact same thing when that rubbish “Desperate Housewives: Africa came out.” They should stop deceiving themselves and just call it what it is. And no, I’m not hating, it’s just really irksome. It’s either you’re going to do it right, or don’t do it at all. Is the rest of Africa begging you for inclusion?

I don’t like the fact that they have Ini Edo standing sideways surrounded by all those men….it looks “sonhow”. She could have been the only one sitting while the rest stand or something. It feels like they wanted to highlight her budunkadunk…lol

And the winner is Osy ukeje, trust me they have already told him to prepare a speech. He is soooo lucky cos all the awards are in his favour making the other stars to look as if they don’t know how to act. He is already AMVCA golden child now it is the AMAA’s turn. I wonder what criteria they use to pick winners cos honestly I do not see what he does differently from others to mk him win every year. It is becoming too routine and boring.

If he was a very good societal person, say his public relations is very good,i would have said people always vote for him to win but he’s as Cocky and as arrogant as hell!
Let’s see how far he would shine!
