All na pose, pose. If you know some of these artists personally you’ll be flabbergasted by their reality bcos it’s definitely opposite of what they put on. Entertainment industry is all about keeping up with the Joneses. Some are in such bad situations that you will be grateful to God for what you have, and are surviving on it. Simplicity will become an asset.

You right in the head? We are supposed to celebrate and give thanks because someone got a new car? gtfohwtbs. We shall collectively celebrate and give thanks when there is good medical care throughout the continent for all, when the education is on par with the world class standard, when every Nigerian lives in a good home of stable structure and have all the necessities of life at their fingertips, when the unemployment rate is a whopping 3% then we shall celebrate and give thanks, but don’t come and tell us to celebrate for someone and their vehicle that does not affect the lives of Nigerians in general. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for Ketchup squeezing every sweet, tangy moment out of this personal life event, but let us collectively learn to celebrate and be thankful for worthwhile events.

it looks like a business thing tho, a ‘gift’ from management. possibly even deducting it from his earnings or projected earnings sef. happy for him – at least now i know who ketchup is, with the ketchup SUV. #bless

and i hear you Mabel. we totally need to redefine wealth as real enduring wealth for all – when we’re producing, we’re safe, have infrastructure, social safety nets, PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION, class-blindeness without the need to hustle out of the mass of squalor that is the reality for almost everyone, and without the need to pretend like pretty much everybody frontin’.
