The unknown gunmen who abducted former Secretary to the Federal Government, Olu Falae, are yet to release him.

You will recall that they had initially requested for a ransom of N100 million. However, they have now reduced their demand to N90 million, Punch reports.

However, his family has only been able to raise N2 million, which they offered the abductors. Unfortunately, the abductors have rejected the money.

A family source told newsmen:

At the time they called us on Monday night, they said they could only reduce the ransom to N90m, but we begged them to collect N2 million, which they rejected.

“They said they would call us back today (Tuesday), but as I am talking to you. they have yet to do that.”

We are hoping for Falae’s safe return.
