Sounds a lot like Korede Bello’s Godwin in some parts.

Nice song.. Just curious, being an Igbo guy, why is Naeto C feels more comfortable singing in Yoruba language than igbo ? A buta boy at that !!

One of the things I admire about Igbos is their ability to adapt and pick up another culture. I grew up in owo, and lived among so many Igbos. Many of them settled there after Biafra war. There’s this Igbo guy that sells everything down the street from us. he broke his leg during the war. He speaks Yoruba, owo(dialect) more than a Yoruba person.

And I noticed, a lot of Igbos don’t know how to speak their language, even ones who grew up in their states. I tried to learn but it sounds difficult.

I’m also Igbo but, like Naeto C, was raised in Lagos so speak perfect Yoruba. We’re all Nigerian. Great song btw.
