What will mbgn do without Igbo girls, the most beautiful that makes the show shine.
Anyway am tired of light skin girls winning (so predictable) so although I like ms orji of ondo. i will have to go with edo state Cynthia sapara of who looks a bit like osas.

I do wonder if mbgn could exist without igbo girls, that being said: no they are not the most beautiful That could make the show shine ;),,, there are beautiful girls from every state in our country, an Igbo parent is just more likely to allow their daughter contest for things like this compared to the more rigid northern parents or some traditional Yoruba parents.
There is nothing wrong with contesting for miss something. To each his/her own and we can not all be professionals in life 🙂

The quality of this years batch is debateable but Abuja and Zamfara are stand outs. Borno looks good as well

The makeup and hair have added years to them. Except of course they are older than the ages featured. Oluwadamilola Hassan (Borno State) – keep it up. Your beauty shines through with that hairstyle.

The picture quality doesn’t do them justice at all. I belief they are more beautiful than this. The dresses are also tacky. Please Nigeria has a lot of talented designers with beautiful collections.

Is this the best make up artist they could find? Really? Everything is just bad. Mbgn has to be the worst pageant organizers ever.

I’m more drawn to the ladies that seem to know about climate change. Some of them obviously don’t know much about climate change…. they are not giving good answers. …also does the age criteria go from 18-23??. a lot of them don’t look their age

@ Ladybird thank U! That’s exactly what I said.. Miss Niger’s response to the climate question is definitely a NO -NO.. She’s got to be coached more or else, she is not gonna make it.. Even the way she’s started her answer smh I give up! #MISSKEBBI# all d way!

I read the little quotes from the contestants and I am convinced that as a country, we are headed downhill. i see quotes like the following and I wonder if they hired a dumb PR person to make them sound reasonable or they actually came up with these mostly meaningless sentences – “Carbon effects is one way to control climate change,” “elimination of burning of natural gas,” “dig water catchment pit that harvest flood water,” “engage more in electrical usage rather than fossil gas.” I won’t overanalyze this because I don’t know where to start but here are a few starters. Electricity can be very dirty – Coal is a major source of the carbon we are trying to reduce. Also electricity can come from fossil fuels and that is the other primary source in the market. Natural gas – that is actually one of the best solutions for now next to windmills and hydro. How about digging put to harvest flood water. I understand the need for one to appear intellectual but a little research might be helpful.

These are beautiful women no doubt but most are chubby ” in runway terms” and don’t stand a chance because the organisers have a duty to select the girl with the best shot at the miss world contest and not necessarily the most beautiful. I am yet to be impressed with answers that don’t have to do with reduction strategies as I believe that that s the most practical solution at the moment and not totally turning off appliances, “hands on deck” ( quite evasive), solar ( too expensive) etc

I am not particularly impressed with the line up especially the Imo girl. Imo state is one of the states in Nigeria that produces beautiful girls,I really wonder what went wrong. Or does it mean that the beautiful ones are scared to come out for contest????
