The nation is waiting with great anticipation as today is the day that the long awaited ministerial list is set to be revealed.

Meanwhile, the Senate is saying that since President Buhari has appointed himself as petroleum minister, he too must submit himself before the Upper Chamber for screening, just like all the other appointees.

The Senate has also warned that it will reject an incomplete list, stating that “the constitution provides for a nominee from each state of the federation and that any list that did not cover the 36 states would suffer serious opposition on the floor of the Senate.”

We’re eager to see who is on the list. People have been making their predictions about who they think will be named ministers. What are your predictions?

Why not if not. He is Petroleum Minister designate. The looters of the Oil money are Northerners. Who own 90% of the oil wells? Who has been in charge of NNPC before GEJ/Diezani? Northerners. Let us not deceive ourselves. Northerners believe the oil belong to them being the natural rulers of Nigeria.

Buhari should go and tell Nigerians at the senate how he intends to sanitize the oil industry. It is the prerogative of the senate to ask him to bow and go. But, l hope not. This President has done any and everything to talk to this Nation. All serious information is passed to Nigerians from abroad anytime he flies out. All the news media here have been bought over and they ask silly kindergarten questions when they get the opportunity. Even abroad, it is usually arrangee. Let him talk to us for once.

Old man take him hand buy gbeses.

Dear Lord, I’m not a PDP Supporter neither am I an APC Supporter but I’m a Nigerian.

Lord Jesus, pls sanctify and purify the minds of the Ministers to be, remove that spirit of embezzlement in each and every one of them.

May the national moi-moi that you have given to Nigeria and handed it over to them be shared equally to every tom, dick and harry in Nigeria.

Lastly, Lord biko deliver our country from the hands of Bokoharam IJN. AMEN!!!

The fact that Diezani is a Crook does not mean other Nigerians are Crooks.

Hence according to Mr President; there is no other credible person in the whole of Nigeria to manage the petroleum ministry besides him (the righteous one); then, he must submit himself to the Senate for screening. Mr President is not above the law; and as such, he must submit himself to the Senate to carry out their legislative duties as stipulated in the Constitution. Mr President must enjoy the humiliation of “screening” for demoting himself, as Mr President to Petroleum Minister.

Between, why the desperation for Niger Delta Oil? What if the oil wells run dry some day? I wish this CHANGE could harness other resources in Nigeria where revenue can be accrued; like Agriculture, Coal Mining, Textile Industry etc.

Who will monitor Mr President as Petroleum Minister? So Buhari as Petroluem Minister will report to Buhari as President??? Well, hence it’s now a legitimate course for a President to ridiculously appoint himself as the Petroleum Minister, in a “FEDERAL STATE”; then I would only applaud Mr President, if, given his background, he appoints himself as Minister of Defence: Thusly, aiding in the radical riddance of terrorism in Nigeria ( a benefit to the North where he is from).

I want to answer one part of your question. Why the desperation for oil? Because Nigeria is lazy. We want to sit and marinate in oil wealth because for years it has been ‘easy money’ not considering that the future of commodities is changing. From school textbooks and ways of learning to methods of power generation It always takes Nigeria as a country decades to realize the world has changed. I would have thought that the fact that oil is doing so poorly on the market would have been a wake-up call but mba. We are still here.
