Lovely! They looked happy. Congrats to them!
Big flower girl, they should have looked for one about same age and height as the ring bearer…well, this is what happens when your bestie is the wedding head planner…

      December 29, 2015 at 2:40 pm

What does the age or height of the flower girl have to do with the wedding? ITK. So, what if the groom is younger or shorter than the bride? The marriage will be null?

Except the groom is going to relocate to Nigeria and work for a Nigerian coy, his wife shall be able to garnish his US paycheck and assets for child support. Talk less of filing charges against him for bigamy.
Meanwhile, very instructive that none of his oyibo friends showed up, just Naija people.

Nobody has answered you, and I don’t want you to be left thirsty for tea.

The gist is still on BN. Shortly after her pre-wedding pictures were posted, Mariam’s fiancee- John’s wife (LOL) asked BN to post details about how John is still married to her with kids, and how he’s become shady over time, and how she’s gonna sue him for bigamy.

      See that here:

Of course the comments were interesting, but the babe didn’t mind. She went on and posted a statement (she’s a PR girl apparently) about how this is a family matter, and then posted pics of her bridal shower thrown for her by 22 year old Lord Trigg’s fiance who’s pushing 40.

Anyhoo…here we are. If her ‘friends/stans’ come for me, it’s your fault.

You look beautiful Mariam, it haff do. Let this girl rest. Come to think of it, if her marriage last or not how dos it change d price of rice in d mkt? It definitely does not reduce or add anything to my life. To say d truth she wont be d 1st or last woman to get married under less than perfect circumstances. In a couple of weeks it’ll be another persons drama everyone is talking about. Upon how ppl were calling Ubi franklin a woman beater, same ppl where oohing and aaawwing at his wedding pics.
I knew dis wedding will still hold. I honestly wish them well. I do feel pity for d oyinbo wife, but women shld learn from this. Pls when and if your husband relocates to Nigeria, kindly move along with him. Plenty thirsty girls in Naija, especially if he’s coined up.

Tiannahstyling designed all the dresses so why won’t she be there, leave this couple let them enjoy there lives, I’m sure they wouldn’t be married if he wasn’t official divorced,Marian deserves to be happy.half of the people shouting here are all guilty of one crime or the other, too many hypocrites dating married men about town.

Who are the perfect being here that judge other people’s life style?.how many of you that judge can swear you never dated a married man or cheated on your partner before, abi you think Karma will catch only Mariam.give some ladies here chance they will snatch this man from Mariam.

    • Rekiya

      December 29, 2015 at 5:13 pm

Hey! Hey! Hey! I don’t know your upbringing or where you get your morals from but myself and approximately about 200 men and women i know have neither dated married people or cheated on their partners! I notice this thing about Nigerians, they always think the whole world is doing the evil they are doing, so it’s justifiable. So we should clap for the Mariam abi? Lol, oh in her mind, she’s the special one? A man that has been divorced twice with kids does not raise a ton of red flags to her abi? To top it all the ex abi iya Ile is crying that he has abandoned his children and you think it’s okay to go ahead with such marriage? You think he won’t do the same when you have kids? Karma is real. People are talking about mercy Johnson as if the train of karma has stopped, lol. If she truly destroyed another woman’s home, she would still cry blood not tears! The only thing is that when things begin to happen, one would have forgotten what they did to warrant such. God forbid me date a married man! There’s nothing they would have given or can give me that I don’t have. It’s poverty or pure greed that steers girls towards that boat, not me or the people around me and it’ll remain so in my life IJN.

    • Bey

      December 29, 2015 at 5:45 pm

Madam is it ur karma or Mariam’s karma ? I am in no way supporting bigamy or wife abandonment. But is it really “our problem” or Mariam’s problem.

    • oversabi

      December 29, 2015 at 10:22 pm

Not one of the judges but I have never cheated on any man in my life. It is so much wasted energy planning to cheat that the work and investment dampens and by far outweighs the benefits. mmm hmm. My toto no scratch reach like that. So, count me out of your stat.

Why is everyone bashing this girl and not the man? He’s the one one who went into a marital contract with his Russian woman. He’s the same one now signing the dottdlines with maid Mariam. Mariam may be at the very least unwise to tie herself to this yeye “oyell professional”, but he is the useless-more useless party here. I guess Mariam saw an opportunity for iyawoship and grabbed it. You reap what you sow. When the marriage begins to crumble and it will, she will send her chronicles to the other blog and claim she never knew this side of him. Meanwhile, is that an alhaja tooth i see in Mariam’s mouth?Chai!

Because at the end of the day, the woman is usually the victim of bad behavior orchestrated by her or the man. It is an unusually high standard, but the women have the upper hand and that is why people lean heavily on them for better decision making. Time is what they have on their side to prove their love or decide it aint worth it. Nobody can run that clock for them.

Her dress is gorg, just not for this wedding venue, look at how busy her and her bridesmaids dresses are for a beach ceremony, like they traveled to go and import beach sand from Dubai with their dresses.

Lawd knows I tried, but my judgy self won’t let this comment slide. This wedding looks beautiful but is all shades of odd. That guy walking her down the aisle can’t be her father. Where’s her family?

I feel like these two are adamant about proving that their love is real, and that’s just sad. They know that if they peddle this image of glamour, glitz, wealth, and ritzy photos long enough, they will win this battle of public perception. Why? Because it’s a tried and true formula. We Nigerians are very shallow-minded and extremely materialistic. Yup, money talks, shit walks. Our values are misplaced in Nigeria, I swear. People have bought into the idea that your public image/pictures/how you package yourself always tells the whole story. SMH. Awon sugomu. Reality matters. Truth matters.

Once all is said and done, once we have oohhed and ahhhed, we will move on and anticipate another gorgeous glitzy wedding. However, the burden of the success of this marriage is not on the public, it is on the couple. This is true for all marriages no matter how expensive or modest the wedding ceremony was. Reality matters. Truth matters. As una lay una bed, na so una go lie on it. You are welcome to bombard us with pictures of real happiness or facade on social media. We will talk and move on, but una go dance to the music that truth generates. That truth may never become public, but I 100% guarantee that the music will be REAL and AUTHENTIC.

Note to rabid fans: I didn’t ask for pictures, but now that pictures are public, I AM ENTITLED to my opinion. Thanks in advance. *side eyes*
