Published

 on

We didn’t see that coming!

If you follow Tiwa Savage on Instagram, you will have noticed that for the past 4 days, she has been dropping some cryptic messages and pictures with tagline #IamRED. E.g:

IAMRED1

#IamRED

IAMRED2

We are Red #IamRED

Celia Savage

Seasons Greetings from Mama Savage because she is Red #IamRED @celiasavage

What could this be? We wondered. A new endorsement? A new clothing line? A film? Well it turns out its a new album:

red

Without you all I would not be able to testify to my success story. #OnceUponATime I had this passion burning inside and God has been faithful to me, the fire keeps burning bigger and brigther. Tomorrow night join me as we paint the town #RED with my exclusive album listening at Industry night hosted by my darling @fadeogunro It would mean so much to me to see your beautiful faces tomorrow, friends, supporters, media partners, colleagues and well wishers. God bless you all ❤️ #IamRED #AlbumLoading #SavageSoldiers #RedNation

What an unexpected announcement. She definitely took us by surprise Beyonce-style (Remember when Bey dropped that Beyonce album overnight right?)

We can’t wait to hear the new sound!

Naija and their shameless copycat spirit. Bey is cool but she ain’t even all that to have all this unecessary comparison. Anyway, Tiwa be original and stay true. That’s what we fell in love with in the beginning. The best female artist in Africa.

      Thank God, new music
      Y’all ain’t ready at all
Watch her get on all the covers, billboard and everything
So Uncle Burna this is how to market an album.
Meanwhile I see a lot of similarities with this to Beyonce the only thing missing is the visuals for the album, your team needs to come correct on the other creative process for executing your album, remember Yemi alade is a hit basically ciz she is selling the Africa to the world.

We don’t want another Beyonce, we want you with all your influences , u!!!

      Can’t wait.

She DID NOT take us by surprise. Remember she was to drop her album on the day of her delivery as carried by some blogs…. So this is long overdue.

In Tiwa’s mind, she is Beyonce and that wide-nosed Tunji be feeling like Jayz. Small time they will buy pillow case to wear on their son’s head like anyone gives a toss.
