    Congrats to George.

I’m not hating but from a marketing perspective, a brand ambassador should essentially result in more brand recognition and drive sales. How is he going to do this, by photographing the products? Please except you really hav money to waste, can every brand/business stop jumping on d brand ambassador wagon?

What if you had chosen one of them chefs or cooks with large social media following? I guess it would be too easy for them to use some of ur brands.

Nkataa is Abuja based for now and GeorgeOkoro is well known in Naija specifically in Abuja cause his based in Abuja and who doesn’t know GeorgeOkoro? so i don’t see how is a bad marketing strategy! also, his trying to make his brand well known in Abuja before any state. at the end of the day you start small. people always think by making only celebrities ambassadors thats when you make profit… thats a big lie. you start small and then work your way up by using celebrities (if thats your take), also lets not forget about the money paid to these ambassadors (what if he could easily afford GeorgeOkoro as oppose to Dbanj and co) there are many more years to come for more ambassadors. so chill out, is not the end of the world, like play like play they go use beyonce and riri next!! lol
congratulations to both Nkataa and GeorgeOkoro!!!

Congrats to him, but i have a few reservations about this dude. Photography is all about capturing moments but it seems he has lost touch with that, I attended one of the weddings were he photographed last year and he spent more time taking pictures of people he knows . So George if we don’t know you, you wont take our picture abi.
I still don’t see how George Okoro will make me shop from Nkata

lol… ok congrats?, but brand ambassador? like someone said earlier, is he going to be taking pictures of their products, hence brand Ambassador? and how would he make me wanna buy from nkataa or is it because they are friends? i see his pictures, they are a bit basic, nothing blows my mind or wows me, Jide takes breathtaking pictures than he does, and for some reason. his work doesn’t speak artistic or editorial or tell a story, it’s just good camera and some lightening. and it’s always weddings. Nigerian photographers need to step out of this trend of just wedding photography. do art. i like GOTTAY because his works come off as art. jide is versatile also, same as TY. anys what do i know, just an observation/opinion

Exactly……he isn’t a good photographer, he now focuses on capturing familiar faces like someone pointed out ,rather than moments…….He should learn from Jide.
