The highly anticipated event was hosted by comedian and actor Chris Rock who, in his opening monologue, had a lot to say about the #OscarsSoWhite controversy. Chris Rock also talked about the “Ask Her More” campaign.

The 51-year-old host discussed the campaign which says that women should be asked more on the red carpet than just what she is wearing.
