“In the beginning One Direction were a nightmare to work with” – Simon Cowell Reveals

Music mogul Simon Cowell, in a recent interview with Billboard magazine admitted that boy band One Direction were a ‘nightmare’ to work with in the early stages of their career.

‘They were like five puppies really excited, loads of opinions, always wanted to hang out.’ he explained.

Speaking on the band’s hiatus, Simon added that it will be the group’s decision if they decide to return.

‘I don’t know if it’s a hiatus or a breakup, to be honest. In a weird way, I don’t want to know…They’ll decide when they want to come back together.’
