Women Rising! A Day of Inspiration, Leadership & Entrepreneurship at iWOW’s Global Possibilities Summit 2016
Saturday, March 19th 2016, will go down in history as an outstanding and transforming day for approximately 150 women and a few brave men who registered for and attended the Global Possibilities Summit hosted by the Inspired Women of Worth Network, iWOW at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce Conference Hall in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Guests were welcomed warmly and with high energy music that has come to characterise all iWOW experiential events. All the guests couldn’t help but notice the breathtaking, branded iWOW staging appearance designed and executed by South African based Sheer Ambience, led by a founding member of the network Busola Jennifer Songonuga, who also doubled as the Chairperson of the 2016 summit
The iWOW Global Possibilities Summit 2016 was an extraordinary experience in all respects.
The theme, “Women Rising! Unlocking the Purpose, Power and Unlimited Potential of Women in the Marketplace” was as always, carefully curated and chosen by the iWOW Network Visionary & Founder, Udo Maryanne Okonjo to depict the current season and desperate requirement ‘for Nigerian and African women who are a treasure trove of unlimited potential to arise and become an unstoppable force of good the world over, irrespective of their personal limitations, professional pathway or marital status.’
The Global Possibilities Summit chairperson, Busola Songonuaga stated that this year’s iWOW summit was designed for women who understand the need for leadership and aspire to become great leaders and women of purpose. She said, “We recognize the need to tap into a highly efficient human resource in women especially at a time like this where families, communities and our nation are in dire need of resources that would promote growth.”
The summit commenced with the Nigerian National Anthem and a rendition of “I didn’t know my own strength” by Whitney Houston, both sung so beautifully by Chioma Odinma.
Some of the summit topics included, Be Distinct or Extinct, Passion to Profit, Power, Purpose, Possibilities, How to Find, Create, Manage, Grow and Keep Real Money, and Steps to living the iWOW Lifestyle. So many questions, So many answers! This was the place to be if you wanted real practical information to help you unlock purpose, power and unlimited possibilities.
The iWOW Summit Speakers included Bukky George, CEO Health Plus; Udo Okonjo, CEO/Vice Chair Fine & Country West Africa; Uche Pedro, CEO, BellaNaija; Paternia Werts Onuoha, from Shell Nigeria, Ify Okeke of Lexon Capital; Obinna Ukachukwu from Head SME Stanbic IBTC; Omilola Oshikoya, Africa’s Premier Wealth Coach; Busola Songonuga, CEO, Sheer Ambience and Ogechukwu Modie, Chief of Staff to the GMD NNPC/Minister of State for Petroleum Resources.
Peculiar to iWOW events, this was a high energy event with entertainment and music from different genres. Wellness coach, Maje Ayida, of Eden Lifestyle, Akin Maja and the FuZion Fitness team were also present to encourage the audience to keep on moving as a lifestyle with Safari and Zumba dance routines introduced throughout the event. The guests were blown away by the event.
The iWOW Global Possibilities Summit 2016 team have been inundated with testimonials of transformational light bulb moments by many women, with a few confessing to almost nearing the point of giving up before the event.
