Minister of State, Industry, Trade & Investment Aisha Abubakar tours Facilities supported by BOI Cotton, Textile and Garment (CTG) Fund

Today 25th April 2016, The Hon. Minister of State, Industry, Trade and Investment, Hajiya Aisha Abubakar is on a working visit to Lagos.

This visit will see her take a facility tour of companies that have been supported by the Bank under the Cotton, Textile and Garment (CTG) Fund managed by the Bank. This Fund, 60% of which has been disbursed, had been instrumental in the reviving ailing textile companies in Nigeria, including the United Nigeria Textile company in Kaduna, and saved over 8,000 jobs. It also helped benefiting textile companies improve their operating capacity from below 40% to over 61%.
