E-Money reportedly sprayed over N1million at a Wedding this Weekend

What dollar rate? What economic downturn? What fuel scarcity?
These are questions that E-Money is likely asking himself as the oil and gas entrepreneur/music business investor brother of superstar musician Kcee is oblivious to current economic conditions based on his recent spraying spree.

E-Money (real name: Emeka Okonkwo) reportedly sprayed over 1 Million Naira at Mike Ezuruonye‘s sister Chika’s wedding this weekend. Mike who stood in the role of the father of the bride, is close friends with Kcee and E-Money.

Generous guest E-Money used his spraying device for more efficient dispersion of the funds.

Check out the video below.

In case you missed it, E-Money also “made it rain” at Quilox Nightclub during King of Fuji Wasiu Ayinde K1 De Ultimate‘s party recently with his now famous spraying device.

This is so funny seeing Wasiu turn to Ibo singer all because of money. Oro ti owo ba she ti ile lo ma gbe.

Money is a unifying factor. No igbo, no Yoruba and no Hausa when it comes to money. It was indeed funny to see K1 sing in Igbo

? Honestly, I could see the couple has started to flag a bit (can’t even blame them, Naija weddings are hectic) but each new bundle kept inspiring renewed energy. ?

Hopefully all the money made to them in the end… Na this kain wedding wey unscrupulous persons fit put “chingum” under shoe, begin dey “match” naira notes wey land by the wayside.

The couple had a better chance of collecting every dime if he had simply deposited it in their account. What was the point?

@Manny- when i tell my friends that we spray money at our parties they never used to believe me. I just showed them this video and the whole office is SOOO quiet. lmaooo. Ironu ti ba everybody (everyone is erm thinking?)and they are just clicking away on their computers. lol. Although I did explain to them that this dude here is just a show off. Its not about you, if you wanted to give so much money away to the couple then put it in an envelope and give it to them- dont take the attention away from the celebrants. Why do we even spray money anyways? Historically? Does anyone know?

I’m actually confused here. Isn’t this an igbo wedding? Aren’t these igbo boys? Why are they wearing agbada? From igbo girls trying to steal Benin traditional wears and now this? This is the only tribe that dresses like other tribes. And I know someone is going to use the “Tribalistic” card. But I am not tribalistic. Neither am I yoruba (that is the only tribe igbos love to attack). Its not by force to be a Yoruba demon mbok!

    • yemirae

      April 13, 2016 at 9:13 am

You are tibalistic and you are yoruba. Stop lying! Since when is it a big deal for people to wear cultural attires from other ethnic groups? Ur kind needs to be annihilated for peace to rain in Nigeria. Biko, swerve and go and fix your obviously disturbed life.

    • jay

      April 13, 2016 at 10:04 am

Ay! U r snakey as hell. I like how some yoruba peeps will drop bile and say they ain’t yoruba or say they’re not even Nigerians, lol. U people should kontinu… y’all dusty peeps can’t even hate confidently. Sorry o, never knew agbada is exclusive to Yorubas. I believe a little internet research will help your smart brain out.

    • Mz Socially Awkward....

      April 13, 2016 at 11:14 am

Relax for a minute. BN didn’t give us the groom’s name but maybe he’s Yoruba? Or maybe the Ezeruonye family have additional personal reasons for wanting the wedding to be influenced by Yoruba tradition?

If you take time to breathe and maybe look at the clues in a bit more detail – Mike and his friends purposely wearing agbada, the Yoruba singer Wasiu being hired for entertainment – you might see other reasons why they’ve deliberately mixed tribal identities.

Finally, the white dresses that are now usual at Nigerian church weddings are not our tradition, either. It’s borrowed. And before you counter with any argument that we inherited it as part of Christian tradition – no, there’s nothing Christian about its origin. It was simply the colour of choice of an English mornach who influenced the style choice of brides in the 19th century. And I’m yet to hear of any British outcry against “other cultures” who’ve chosen to adopt the same colour as their standard.

As you borrow, you too shall be borrowed from. 🙂

      April 13, 2016 at 2:39 pm

Stay confused. Dressing in Nigeria is mixed up now especially the entertainment industry. It has nothing to do with forcing to be yoruba demon. Its more of what is trending at the moment and preference. And those saying wasiu is singing igbo bcos of money are not aware of his music. This is not his first time singing in igbo.
You dont just spray your hard earned money like that. Its show off. What happened to giving the couple the money off camera

      April 14, 2016 at 5:56 am

@Chuchu the ignorant one, i had to go back to watch the video because of your comment and i saw no one wearing any Yoruba outfit. Rather they have on Boubous aka Agbada in Yoruba language and this outfit originated from West African Muslims and not the Yorubas. I guess the cap Kcee has on is also part of a Yoruba outfit right? Madam Mbok.

The truth does not really hide, they say by their actions we shall know dem. Billionaires like Dangote, otedola, adenuga etc…that we all know are real business men and entrepreneurs don’t waste money like this showing off at parties even if it is their children or relatives . People dont throw away moni they work hard for, No!!!! they invest it . It is only money gotten thru 419, rituals, bunkering, kidnapping etc that is spent like this. Pple may not know what E.money does for a living but he is just indirectly telling them thru his actions. So don’t blame pple if they label him as such cos he brought it upon himself.
