Seven suspected Fulani Herdsmen with ammunition arrested in Jos

The Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Adekunle Oladunjoye, disclosed to journalists during a briefing on the command’s activities in Jos that the Force has apprehended suspected Fulani Herdsmen along Riyom/Ganawuri road in Plateau State.

He said that the Special Anti Robbery Squad of the Police who made the arrest during a stop and search operation on the highway found 504 rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition, four locally constructed AK47 butts and other incriminating items on the suspects during the operation.

The commissioner also said that the Force nabbed a group of syndicate known as ‘Sarasuka’, who specialised in molesting residents around the new stadium within the Jos metropolis.
