The governor of Bayelsa state, Seriake Dickson has condemned the activities of a new militant group, Niger Delta Avengers, saying that their activities are scaring foreign investors away.

The governor who was quoted in a statement on Wednesday by his media aide, Daniel Iworiso-Markson said that the Federal Government should “tread with caution and not adopt military approach as a means of solving the problem”.

According to PUNCH, Dickson spoke at a meeting with the representatives of some international oil companies and security chiefs.

The unfortunate development is scaring foreign investors away from investing in the country. The recent development is affecting the socio-economic growth of not only the state, but the entire region.

May I therefore call on stakeholders to discuss the way forward to nip in the bud, the unwarranted and incessant destruction of critical national assets.

The way forward is for all stakeholders to discuss the issues and the need for the Federal Government to tread with caution and not adopt military approach as a means of solving the problem.

No one person can protect the assets in the remote areas of the region. I, therefore, call on those involved in this act of criminality and brigandage to stop forthwith. We also commend the military and other security organs in their fight against pipeline vandalism and the protection of lives and property in the region.

Please sir, could you also advice your fellow politicians that stealing huge sums of money belonging to the whole nation is also affecting the psychy of the common man who labours night and day earning stipends, which eventually frustrates them to become vagabonds scaring off investors.

Don’t mind the efulefu. He is one of the thieves that derailed Jonathan. Upon all the money given to him by Jonathan to specially develop Bayelsa, he chopped and cleaned mouth. This was the genesis of his problems with Madam PayPay.. The so called leaders in Nigeria are just devils once they get into govt’. Plus Deziani that was given money but chopped it and when asked, said, which money? In short, l have no energy to spill.

Buhari has been doing himself since he assumed power busy pointing fingers. All of the leaders are the ones scaring away investors. Stealing us blind while Buhari is busy bad mouthing/demarketing Nigeria all over the world. His ministers are in Sidon look mode/just too scared/timid to challenge him.

Shebi you are the proverbial daughter of the cripple who bought shoes as gifts. Na you wan hear word.
Propaganda has taken away from you and your ilk the ability to differentiate between noise and substance. Maybe, if you were to put your thinking cap on, you might just understand that nobody ever goes to jail based on media trial. How is the gastritis? Don’t forget to take your medication.
By the way, typing in capital means you are shouting. Sho le toyen ni? Stop it! Wa ko ku danu for nothing.

This governor has the right to open his bloody oesophagus when he is one of the godfathers of militancy in the area…. Nigeria evil leaders, your days are numbered and very soon you will be exposed and your evil black magic will not save you.

Tompolo, Asari and others are all hiding behind these ignorant young men called NDAs to cause trouble coz they know that if MEND and the other who benefited from the Amnesty prog will be called ungrateful…. They are still ingrates no matter how coated they make it look. Shameful people who have more greed than the military evil men.

Nigerians, y’all better start getting involved in all the areas affecting this Great Country ordained by God…. they will crushed under our feet like we crush the serpent regularly!!
