A New Generation of Young Women Inspired! Funto Ibuoye hosts Becoming 2.0 – Find Out What Happened at the Gamechanging Event
The Beautified Network hosted over 300 young women till there was an overflow of attendees from all over Nigeria, on Saturday, July 16th 2016, as the second edition of “Becoming” held in Agip Hall, Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos Nigeria.
Becoming is an inspirational and empowerment conference for women between the ages of 18 and 35.
The successful conference hosted by fast rising Nollywood actress Olayode Juliana (ToyoBaby of Jenifa Diaries) with an array of Africa’s leading women from different sectors such as Lala Akindoju, Sunmbo Adeoye, Omilola Oshikoya, Detoun Ogwo, Glory Edozien and many others held the audience spell bound and highly inspired till the end of the event.
One of the high points of the conference was the Girl Talk Panel Session focused on the question – ‘Should Christian Women be Feminists?’ got the audience bubbling and expressing themselves.
The event was a power-packed all day event powered by The Beautified Network an initiative of Funto Ibuoye, and supported by Guardian Woman, SuperMart.Ng, Selah Afrik, Ebony Life Tv, August Occasions, SeyiDaniels, OloriSuperGal and a dedicated team of volunteers.
