“MoCheddah continues her hot streak with another track”. Which hot streak?

    Honestly
    Mo Cheddah.
    Do yourself a favour.
Go back to your drawing board.
    Review your life goals.
This thing is not for you.
    At all.

You put clothes together quite well.
You already have a network of celebrity friends.
    Explore this angle.

Your make up is always on point.
    Another angle.

Please do not wake up at 40 and realise you have chased illusions.

With this music, what is your networth off it?
What major endorsements do you have?
Please NOT that boutique i beg of you.

This is beginning to seem like a struggle career.
Off the top of my head,i cannot even mention 3 hits from you.
And this is meant to be your career?

    Girl,there is straight up hating.
( i have no reason to hate you, that would be a pure agbaya move on my part, and besides, our life and career choices are so far apart, possibility of ever sitting in the same room to discuss business is zilch)
Then there is telling you the truth.
    Do you not have siblings?
Can they not help guide you?

Go back to the drawing board.

    This isn’t it at all.

    Regards.

Look at this long ass tirade. You’re pathetic sha… What kind of person has time to post something like this? The song is awesome. Let a chick live.

Biko, keep your unsolicited advice to yourself. Do your research first before you open your mouth. Talented artists in naija are the least popular, it’s a reflection of what naijas like. Marketing, how much publicity and connection you have.
This song is not bad at all. Mo cheddah’s style of music won’t sell fast fast for naija bcos we like lousy songs better. Timaya sef, he said he had to change his music style to sing about bum bum bcos that’s what sells. All the songs we dance to has something to do with shaking your yansh. The popular artists right now with money are not any talented than mo cheddah, but they just make loud upbeat music that sells in naija. Take an artist like shaydee, that dude is talented, when i see his few youtube numbers, he dey pain me. But that’s naija for you.

Anyone that has to go on such tirade against someone they have no personal relationship but be bitter. Is it that serious nitori Oloun? God bless and curse the day the Internet, social media and android phones were made. Cos it’s the only reason an excuse of a human being like you would attack someone so intensely and passionately. Just for the purpose of schooling your retarded ass; it’s only in Nigeria that celebrity endorsement has become a yardstick for success. Be it ambassador for gala, it’s ok abi?

Ignorant ass people. You don’t recognize good music, but if it is Terry g we will not hear word. the fact that she does not have major endorsements yet doesn’t mean a thing, she’s in her own lane and she’s happy, she has things going for her. Can we say the same for you? people who don’t know shit always want to have a say.

I pray that one day, people will be able to express their opinion without insulting others……Amen.

      Dear Mocheddah

These are EXACTLY the type of people you need to avoid.

      Ignorant?

You would know as obviously you were carried in the same belly with the word.

      Rude mofo!

One cannot express an opinion without the fear of e-thugs coming out.
      Must everybody agree with you?

I am not one to ever boast.
But if you need us to go there, please be my guest.
      You will eat your words.

This girl is wasting her time chasing an illusion and it has absolutely nothing to do with “quality” of her songs.
      Reason mediocrity is celebrated.
Do not even let me start with basic tailors masquarading as designers.
If we talk, people like you come out guns blazing.

God forbid i know your kind.

If it will make your miserable existence better,if she has a THRIVING career in 5 yrs,i promise to apologise publicly to Mo Cheddah.

So hey,i’m doing her a favor really.
      Is she up for it?

Dear Endiamo, where do I start from…? Need I tell you that 99.9% of the ‘hits’ in Nigeria are not even worthy to be called music? If we are to go by what you have just said, then Asa should pack up her musical career and call it a day too. The fact that you do not like her songs, or the fact that you think her songs have not made the type of wave you expect them to make doesn’t mean Mocheddah isn’t content and happy with her life.
Your comment makes it seem like you have a perfectly-figured-out life with everything as they should exactly be (the Keyword being SEEM). If that is the case, congratulations, but can you kindly take several back seats and let the rest of us figure out our lives while we have fun at it?
PS: Asides Mocheddah’s beautiful music, I don’t know her from Adam.

    • Endiamo

      July 27, 2016 at 3:14 pm

      Here we go again…

      Reallyyyyy?
ASA and MoCheddah in the same sentence..really?

If you had taken a deep breathe and read carefully, where exactly did i tie “hit” to what is worthy to be called music i.e the noise we get around here.

Can you now see how that defeats your ASA (who is a hitmaker) point?

Brymo does not release noise, his songs are solid.
      He is underrated.
Yet off the top of my head,i can mention 5 songs of his.

Mo Cheddah is NOT even underrated as her songs are not even “hit” worthy.
Her songs are very watery at best, very forgettable,no depth.
      BASIC.

I appreciate you using the word “seem” as i had to go back and read over my comment.

I do not have a universal blue print or some type of exclusivity on how anyone should carry on with their career.
But when it is so obvious that this obviously is a mess,so long as she releases music as she has a right to,i will have an opinion which i am entitled to.

The same way you believe her music is beautiful,is the same way i believe it is not.

As i responded to that one up there,if she has a thriving career in five years,i will apologise publicly.

For now,let her continue having her fun.

Actually, this is not bad at all. Sure she’s not the greatest vocalist but I like her tone. She just needs a vocal coach to teach her control in some areas. I MISS HER RAPPING TBFH. She needs to spit some more fire verses for us biko.

She like our very own Britney Spears just less iconic. We love her even though she doesn’t possess Waje/Mary J Blige vocals. She has personality, sass and killer style. Oh and much better vocals than Britney.

@endiamo Please shut up! You obviously have a misguided perspective of what success is. She has over 100k followers on Instagram. So, obviously, someone knows and cares about her. Secondly, her music sells. It may not be making millions of dollars, but obviously it makes enough money for her to live a very comfortable life. I for one buy her music.” School your face” has been on my top five playlist now for over two months. Besides, you will be surprised to know that the likes of Eva Alordiah and Brymo have big enough fanbases to carry their careers comfortably. The main mistake she’s making is that she isn’t looking for representation from indie labels in Europe where she’d be much more successful. The fact is, if Asa had not started in and gotten recognition from the West, Nigerians would simply have very little value for her talents. That’s just the truth. Because she was ahead of her time and in her own lane.

My advice to you , Mo, is that you should hire that Vanessa Amadi lady who reps Genevieve or or try to strike a deal with a small label in Europe, She’s an established enough singer to be taking seriously. Not only will you be much better repped, but you’d also make a hell of a lot more from Radio plays because as it is, most nigerian musicians don’t get anything as royalties from tv or radio stations.

@Endiamo, i understand we all have our opinions, but you really need to understand the fact that the industry is filled with songs (Noise) that dont have emotions and feeling, people like Mochedah take time to make music that makes sense. Music is all about Value and i think Mocheddah has got the edge over 50% of our artist. We need a lot of Mocheddah in all genre of music in the Nigerian music industry

According to these comments, Mocheddah’s music is great and whoever tell her the truth is just a bitter hater.
    GREAT!!!
Why is this not reflecting in downloads, sales, attention to her career?
    Something ain’t adding up.
You people should connect the dots for me ???

    • Endiamo

      July 28, 2016 at 2:32 am

      Benny..
      God bless you.
Thank you for putting ALL I have been trying to say in very few words.
The dots cannot be connected at all.

See all of them pepper body because they cannot handle the truth.

Someone actually had to use 100k followers on social media as a yardstick!
      Loooool
      Foolishness begets you!

      Another said SWV
What is wrong with you people?

If all of you coming on here to support this weak thing are Mo Cheddahs friends,i fear for her!

This is a case of the emperors new clothes!
MoCheddah is walking naked and you all are lying to her that her clothes look beautiful!

To the one that mentioned gala endorsement!
      Really…
Because gala is not a bigger brand than that boutique in your world ba?
      Who is the retard now?

Please be coming with facts if you want to “argue”.
Even abroad,do mega stars sit with just their “singing”
Do they not get brand ambassadorial contracts?
      For MAJOR brands.!
Your ignorant self is trying to downplay gala!
It obviously shows you are a knuckle head with sawdust filled brain
Let me give you galas daily sales figures so you can faint!
      Olodo!
      Because it’s not Etisalat yeah!?!

I will not even go into the ASA / MOCheddah thing.
Keep deluding yourselves that they are cut from the same cloth!

      MoCheddah..
Try not to be hurt by my comments,if it comes across as mean, that truly was not my initial intention until all these pepper body miss roads came baying for blood.
BUT please go back to the drawing board.
      Let nobody fool you.
Music does not seem to be your forte.

Nigerians,i can now see why the country is how it is.
People churn out mediocre things, you all celebrate
      Criticism is given
      You all shout hate,hater etc

When do you people want to change?
      When?

If I list ten reasons why I cannot hate MoCheddah
You all will scream “show off”

Why you all wouldn’t sit down as opposed to allowing your bloods boil every ten seconds, and ask yourself why is this person seeing things from this angle, could she be right? If so how? Is she wrong? If so why?

      But nooooo
      You must all insult,
Try and trample another’s truth, opinion etc
      Awon eyan hitler

To the riff-raff who labelled me bitter
      I am in tears
      Infact
      *ICryInSuccessfulCareer*

Wish you all the best Mo

You guys get too emotional over irrelevant things.
Now Endiamo is saying the truth. Mocheddah seems like a fashion blogger or makeup blogger to me in the past 2 years than an artiste .

She keeps going back and forth , if we are all honest, the songs she releases are watery at best . Remember her stint with capital records? She made nice sounding commercial music and for some reason she can’t get back there

Maybe she’s too occupied ? Or she’s not hungry enough because her boyfriend is sponsoring her , I can’t tell but something is really off.

I can bet all you Stans would forget this song in 24 hours and you are probably her friends and family supporting her on the internet but please tell her the truth.

She’s been putting her fingers in too many things and losing focus on her music ‘career’ . 5 Months ago, she announced a clothing line but so far no launch and only few pictures of her wearing the pieces .

I’m all for truth and honesty , so please let’s tell each the truth and nothing but. Mochedah needs to FOCUS and restrategise . Period

Endiamo … You decieved a chop knuckle and a handshake, we need folks like you … I Think you shouuld also join the features and the title should be ” THE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH… Constructive advice!!! the truth is always a bitter pill to chew, but one thing about the truth is , it remains the TRUTH,….! Many people cannot swallow that pill, cos they want to change for the better.. it’s easier to call someone a hater when deep down they know exactly what youre saying…
You dont need to keep replying these folks..
Facts and even the fiction have been stated.
Wheter it’s terry G or Vic O, pangolo whatever it is called, if it’s not bearing seeds and is just done for popularity reason or seems forced then no need …
good music, bad music is not done in Nigerian, must times the great songs don’t sell as much as secular music in the world and not just Nigeria….
You have given detailed advice… it’s for them to take it or leave it….
Dont let these folks with their clouded minds, run what you are saying down…

    bIBLE Says in
“””” Proverbs 1:5-7 Let the wise listen to these proverbs and become even wiser. Let those with understanding receive guidance by exploring the meaning in these proverbs and parables, the words of the wise and their riddles. Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.”””
“””””Proverbs 18:6-7 Fools’ words get them into constant quarrels; they are asking for a beating. The mouths of fools are their ruin; they trap themselves with their lips.””””””

Mocheddah if you happen to want to stick to music, please get new set of people to work with from vocal lessons, sound, beat and more PR & Media … but if music is not paying it dues, borrow words of wisdom from Endiamo….
You are still young, pretty and fly use your other GOD given talents to create more profit …
    GOD BLESS
