“President Buhari Should Sit Up or Risk losing 2019 Elections” – Father Mbaka

Buhari and Father Mbaka

President Buhari and Father Mbaka

Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu State, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to address the problems and challenges in the country, or risk losing the 2019 elections, PUNCH reports.

“I can’t keep quiet when things are going wrong,” he said. He urged the president to check his advisers so as not to be led astray.

According to Mbaka, nobody is interested in “Saraki and Ekweremadu this or that”. “To feed is now a problem, and an hungry man is an angry man. Hunger and anger will lead to danger,” added.

His message which was delivered on Tuesday read in parts:

The issue is that Mbaka is speaking as the Spirit leads him – there is hunger everywhere.  My job is to tell leaders the truth, the landlords are crying, the tenants are lamenting, sellers are crying, buyers are lamenting – there is hunger on the streets.

I can’t keep quiet when things are going wrong.

I am telling the President to look around him and know those who are advising him rightly and those who are telling him that there is no trouble.

The President should know that there is trouble – if things continue like this, in the next election, nobody will vote for him.

Whether they like it or not, I am speaking the raw truth.

If the President should have somebody like me and he cannot be talking with me, then there is a problem.

There is a problem somewhere; somebody who can advise you without asking for anything and he is representing the poor masses in the country and he won’t tell you lies.

He will praise you when you are doing well and when you are not doing well, he will look at you in the face and tell you.

I don’t need the President; I need God, I need the Holy Spirit, I need Jesus; there is suffering everywhere, people are suffering.

To feed is now a problem, and an hungry man is an angry man. Hunger and anger will lead to danger.

So, let him know whether he can do away with some advisers around him and bring in the people who are experts in economic revamp.

There are people who are experts in that; let them begin to empower people, people are not empowered, they are still walking around in vicious circles, planning and planning and planning.

Hunger is everywhere, many neighbours don’t eat again, many are being attacked by hunger, hunger is becoming a normal thing and there are people responsible for this.

Mortuary and ambulance business is now thriving because many cannot afford drugs.

In today’s Nigeria, many are becoming hawkers, who will buy from you? With what?

Everyday, more pipelines  are being blown, the Avengers are at work and up till now, there is no solution.

You know when certain things begin to happen, you begin to ask some questions, somebody like me will begin to ask – when will this end?

If it continues in the next three months, there will be no money to pay salaries – the vicious effect is disastrous and when salaries cannot be paid, teachers will come home, students will stop going to school, there will be more kidnappings, more hooliganism, more armed robbery, more prostitution, immorality will be on the increase.”

So, the President should sit up – there is a red light blinking on the country.

The issue of Saraki and Ekweremadu, nobody wants to listen to such stories any more, whether Saraki is the President of the Senate or Ekweremadu is not this or that, the countrymen are tired of such stories.

We need economic experts, gurus, sages that are sincere, who can come in and think about our economic revamp and judicial reformation.

“If the President should have somebody like me and he cannot be talking with me, then there is a problem.” I just can’t stop laughing. Very sad indeed. This is what “men of God” hv bn reduced to – Rent seekers. Pls. who is this idiot again?

Tunde Bakare, your day of humiliation is around the corner! Osinbanjo is Aisha’s handbag. When she is “too busy” Aisha that went to evening school sends Osibajo to “represent” her at events. Karma no longer delays it is now quick action. Osinbajo a pastor lied multiple times during the campaigns. He will suffer more humiliation.

They were all strategizing for positions and recognition. Ofo lasan lasan. Buhari no send.

This man was hoping he’d get some form of public recognition for his unrelenting support. Mr Mbaka, cronyism only works if you are from the north sir. Save your breath.

first of all, buhari may not live up to 2019 he should gaan rest if he intends to. secondly, it’s impossible for him to sit up, he’s an old man whose primitive mindset is clouded with enough sentiments to ensure his downfall.. i urge the holy spirit to tell you alot of things that needs to be heard

It’s rare to find someone like this in Nigeria, whereby you don’t look at face, you say it as it is. Impressive. These are the kind of people I would like to surround myself with. Too many sycophants in Nigeria. And most of the time they align with your views based on petty reasons such as tribe or religion.

The media should stop giving these so call men of God platform it only perpetuate our reliance on and mentality of mana from heaven instead of putting our efforts in getting better and improving ourselves. They are mere attention seekers trying to carve a niche for themselves. The situation in the country will get better with time, the current administration is trying to restructure economy the has been damage beyond recognition due to years of neglect and looting by unpatriotic leaders. Come 2019 if the people don’t vote for him fair enough it is a democracy he would have laid the foundation for others to build on. During the last government everyone was splashing out and spending yafun yafun not thinking of the raining day now that tides have turn everyone is feeling the heat. I say let the government continue in its effort to resurrect the economy while we the citizens also do our best to cut our coat to meet our needs, it just temporary, the fact of the matter is that Nigerians generally don’t want to give just take. let us go back to our roots: Agriculture, OFN every inch of land in your backyard can be productive to plant veggies and even yam and cassava, other nations have done it so we too can. I have ughu , ewedu, tomato beds in my back yard and it has help alot and makes cooking easy and its fresh , we just by some smoke fish or at times corned beef and make quick stew with rice or pasta ; very tasty! Even with the situation as it is some people are still striving to throw heavy and ostentatious parties how can one reconcile that? Lets make time for our nation it is the only way to greatness. The bottom line is that if these steps are not taken now by the new administration then we just forget any hope we have of a great Nigeria.

Thank you very much Tee. This is exactly my point. Our case is beyond complaints, cursing, seeking attention, political wars, which tribe or religion is appointed, etcetera. We should all come together to not only look for a way forward but work jointly to achieve success. Our basic goal should be resurrecting Nigeria. The country has been destroyed beyond imagination by past leaders and at this time of low oil prices, either it’s Buhari in power or Jonathan or Tinubu or Obasanjo, we would be experiencing the same economic difficulty. Let all Nigerians try to be reasonable for once and not be a tool to the political games of division. Either large scale farming or small scale, or even just obeying laid down rules, let’s all just get together and do something to save the nation and stop critiquing or blaming others. . .
