That’s how a friend died. He returned from Europe after a long stay, was travelling from Lagos to East to meet his family and someone bashed his car, in fit of rage, he came out to run towards the stopping offender ad and was hit by an incoming vehicle. His homecoming turned to his funeral. Ibada, nwoke Ike, may your soul continue to rest in peace, Amen!

Sad! There’s no point saying why did he chase or why he did not chase. The deed is done. I hope he finds peace in eternity.

This sad incident teaches several lessons. One of them being “developing the strength to let go of situations beyond our control”. Secondly, with all due respect to the dead, after all the running because of a minor dent to his car, very sad how he had to lose his precious life for a mere piece of metal#AllIsVanity.Thirdly, we must all learn to apply wisdom in all we do. Had the driver driven with caution, this avoidable incident wouldn’t have occurred. Even more had the deceased being wiser, he would have driven peacefully to his house not minding the dent on his car. May his soul find peace IJN!!!

I am reading all the comments and no one wants to admit that these “Danfo” drivers and Keke Marwa riders are now the vermin of our roads…
Is it because they did not kill the man physically..?
Their selfishness, rudeness, unenlightened brains, crudeness, lack of respect for normal human beings, their reputation for being drunk or being influenced by drugs while driving….. and so on are what make people afraid of driving in Lagos.
If another man hopes to teach one of them a lesson and he dies from the mishap, his death still lies in their hands…
If our government and our people continue to pay lip service to security, safety and law enforcement, many more of these will happen….
If you have not been a victim of these hooligans that convey Nigerians from place to place everyday….
If you have never been hit and seen them beg like the low lives that they are…
If you have never seen them sneer at you when they bully you off the road, knowing that you cannot do anything to them….
Then you will not understand the rage that can make you curse them and wish they were not born…

This man is guilty of his own death. He definitely committed suicide period. The Holy Bible said what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world only to loose his soul. I am very sure when he gets to hell, he’ll be purnished for his selfishness ( if married and have kids) ) and stupidity.

Wow! You know all these because you are Jesus or assistant Holy Spirit? Plus the bible portion you have quoted out of place. Biko sit down and drink ice water before you get yourself into trouble with this kind of senseless judgement.
