Halloween is like the new Christmas. It seems to be more celebrated these days now than Thanksgiving. I don’t remember it being like this when I was a kid. I know….this comment is so unrelated to the post :-).

First, we have halloween in Nigeria?

Second, what exactly is she dressed as? A cross between Nigerian film witch/Saw/Kanye West ‘Fashion line’ rejects or maybe she’s channeling ‘Rihanna doing Nollywood Witch’ ?

Third, why am I interested in this? Insomnia is not good for sanity!

Okay i do halloween down here but when did it ttransport itself to naija. I mean we got our masquerade festivals and all that. I loved masquerade as a kid it had its mystery. She could have being a prettuy masquerade. What is she suppose to be dressed as. She came knocking on my door she wont be getting any sweets.

      This is what I don’t understand o.

We have enough masquerades and festivals of our own. Almost every tribe in Nigeria has one festival to celebrate. But No, you’ll leave all that and go and carry halloween on top your head.

And later, she and her father will come and be claming ‘culturally conscious’.

She looks even more dondyish because she doesn’t seem to be channeling one character that can be relevant to the holiday.
