Published

 on

Toyin Lawani of Tiannahs Place Empire has been appointed as the National Youth Ambassador of FADAN (Fashion Designers Association Of Nigeria).

The head judge and face of Nigeria’s Next Top Designer was selected because of her contributions to the fashion industry in Nigeria, her commitment to helping young designers grow as well as sponsorship programs at her Fashion Academy.

With this new feather added to her cap, Toyin Lawani intends to keep promoting our fashion culture on the African Continent and international market, which will ultimately increase the purchase of Nigerian fashion.

I always ask if you do not like any dent on your very expensive car why do you ”spoil” your body with tattoo. Who wants graffiti art on their expensive cars or houses. Congrats Toyin. This is not an attack its just me thinking aloud!

I agree it’s not an attack. Just an Enugu way of thinking.

I’m from enugu.. Your statement is quite offensive I must say. If a person’s opinion counters yours , I don’t see the point in dragging an entire community into it.

Because “spoil” is subjective, and one man’s meat is another man’s poison. #liveandletlive.

Am I the only one that thinks tattoos don’t look good on black skin? It comes out greenish imo.

Common lipstick the makeup person cannot apply…o ga o! This is what happens when black people already blessed with lovely lips jump on the kylie jenner train. Dem for start the lip-liner from the poor lady’s neck na…oshi arata marayo.

Jesus! What is wrong with you people? All you can see are the tattoos? No comment about the actual appointment that the post was originally about. Smh
I understand this babe lives a bit of a controversial life, and maybe in the past should have kept her personal life very strictly out of the media, giving that interview about her bf who was 10 years younger than her was maybe not the best move. However, nobody can deny that this babe works HARD. Look at everything she’s working on?
She’s literally turning every opportunity she can find into a money making business. Spa o, skin care o, fashion design o, children’s design o, everything. And whatever she does, she does well. So, lay off her, for Gods sake, it’s her body, her life, her tattoos, her corsets and none of y’alls damn business. And I absolutely love her guts, she lives her life with no apologies, and that, my people, is how lie should be lived.

People are so bitter, that’s why they’d never say anything positive. Toyin is a strong hardworking woman. Nobody said anything about the award and why she was given the award, only her tattoo. The people that do not have tattoos are gorgeous, abi? She’s bleaching, is it your body? Is it your tattoo?? What has happened to us as human beings that has made us so bitter??

I just love this woman! She is strong and industrious! May God continue to bless your hustle dear, congrats.

  22. ...just saying

    October 12, 2016 at 10:35 am

Well, if she put the appointment up without several poses of her tatooed self, we wouldn’t have been so distracted.

For all subtle superficially minded beings that have commented so far. I say kudos, for you have in your own way expressed yourselves the best way you handle bytes of information.
Toyin Lawani is first a human. ..then a woman…then another life walking on the sands of time. We all can see and choose to address whatever catches our mind in the posted article. But the main underlying truth is that shes is driving and ticking off her achievements from her goals list. We all should gear towards excellence and societal contributions irrespective of public opinion #Na Only You waka come. Cheers and Congratulations are in order Mz Toyin. GOKU
