The premiere of the much-anticipated film ‘Zahra’ took place at Civic Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos on Sunday 26th February 2017.

The film which has a moving message is a partnership between Emem Isong Misodi’s Royal Arts Academy and Rise Up’s Champions For Change, an NGO set up to improve reproductive, maternal, newborn, adolescent and child health for women and their families in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The event was well attended by several celebrities such as Desmond Elliot, Zik Zulu Okafor, Francis Onwochie, Susan Peters, Juliet Ibrahim, Toyin Abraham as well as dignitaries from the corporate world including Innocent Chukwuma from The Ford Foundation,the Executive Director, Silverbird Entertainment, Jonathan Murray Bruce, ‎the Group MD/CEO, Filmhouse Cinemas & FilmOne Distribution/Production Kene Mparu and many more.
