Dino Melaye says He’s Yet to Collect his Certificate from ABU as Vice Chancellor Confirms he Graduated from the Institution

Senator Dino Melaye has said that he is yet to collect his Bachelor’s degree certificate from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria where he graduated from in 2000.

He made this known on Monday while answering questions from the Senate as part of the probe of allegations that he didn’t graduate from the university.

The University’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Ibrahim Garba, while fielding questions from the legislators said that Melaye graduated from the institution.

“Yes. From records, Dino formerly known as Daniel Jonah Melaye graduated from ABU. BA Geography,” Garba was quoted as saying.

According to a series of Tweets on the Senate’s handle, Melaye presented his Acceptance letter, results from ABU, final year project, and his NYSC certificate

Melaye said he officially changed his name from “Daniel Melaye” to “Dino Melaye” and he is ready to tender the affidavit.
