Diplo and Walshy Fire of Major Lazer Party Hard in Lagos | See Photos

Diplo and Walshy Fire; DJs, record producers and bandmates at EDM group Major Lazer touched down in Lagos last week and they’ve been having a rocking time ever since. Hardly anyone who waited till the end of Gidifest 2017 will forget Diplo’s performance in a hurry. Remixing Tekno‘s “Pana” and Mr Eazi‘s “Leg Over“, Diplo kept the crowd on their feet for almost an hour and they didn’t even mind the rain which was pouring down in torrents. Describing his experience of Femi Kuti‘s performance at the Afrika Shrine, Walshy Fire said:

F E M I ? K U T I My life has had many moments of musical empowerment and discovery, but none like watching this band perform live at The Shrine. Crowd in a frenzy for 4 hours. 40 minutes of that was brass to beat a world record. Life changing energy. Im gonna get back to posting my musical/life discoveries and leaving humor for IG Live (nuff jokes tho). This journey I have been Blessed to enjoy. The people and places I have been Blessed to have touch me. Everyday dots get connected and I don’t share the depth of it.
