MTV Movie & TV Awards just announced it’s nominees and it seems the organisers are doing away with the best actor/actress categories and keeping it all neutral.

This means that there will be no “best actor” and “best actress” award, just one category in which all actors will compete which is “Best Actor in a Movie” and “Best Actor in a Show”, according to MTV.

It also means that the non-gendered awards will put Emma Watson and Taraji P. Henson against Hugh Jackman and James McAvoy for “best actor in a movie” and Stranger Things‘ Millie Bobby Brown and Game Of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke will compete with The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan for “best actor in a show”.
