Standing at 6, 10′, Nigerian Charles Bassey, a sophomore student at St. Anthony High School who migrated to the U.S circa 2015, is being regarded as one of the top recruits for the class of 2019.

That’s not the only amazing thing about Charles; he didn’t touch a basketball before he was age 12, and sold fried chicken by the side of the road in Nigeria. He was then encouraged by a coach to give basketball a try, and according to him, “Once I tried Basketball, I loved the game immediately and wanted to get better”.

He’s been regarded as San Antonio’s best kept secret, and the best high school player the Alamo City has seen since Shaquille O’neal.

I like how BN doesnt take their own advice?

What happened to the hundreds of young basketballers hustling in Nigeria here?
How many of them have you celebrated?
