Yaw to provide Free Eye-care services in Anambra
OAP-comedian Steve Onu otherwise known as Yaw has announced plans to visit Awka, Anambra State, on August 19 for the provision of free eye treatment to the residents.
This initiative is in celebration of his 40th birthday coming up on the August 23, 2017.
Yaw made the announcement on his social media, urging fans in Anambra who suffer from any eye defect(s) or know people who do, to participate and benefit from the initiative.
The actor also revealed that the initiative, which is conceived under his flagship community project: ‘The Yaw Naija Project,’ will hold not only to celebrate his birthday but to also commemorate the United Nation’s World Humanitarian Day, which both fall on the same date.
He added that the free services offered will include: free eye consultation/examination, provision of eye glasses, and general eye treatment for the visually impaired.
