I am not dying – Sadiq Daba says He is responding to Treatment

I am not dying - Sadiq Daba says Leukaemia responding to Treatment - BellaNaijaVeteran Nollywood actor Sadiq Daba has responded to claims that he’s dying from leukaemia.

A filmmaker, Sonny McDon, had in a Facebook post, asked people familiar with the actor to put a call to him, as he is down with leukaemia.

He wrote: “Dear colleagues and friends in Nollywood, especially some of us that date back to NTA days, please put a call to Sadiq Daba. He needs your voice of encouragement now, please.”

Asked what was wrong with the actor in the comments, the filmmaker wrote: “He is diagnosed for leukemia.”

But the filmmaker clarified on his Facebook, after wellwishers stormed his timeline with goodwill messages, saying his being treated for the disease.

He wrote in a comment: “I am not dead nor dying I!! God has been and will Always be faithful to me and my plight, because that is my covenant with Him !!!!My doctors have been wonderful and I am responding to treatment. … love and thanks to all those who have called to sympathize and empathize with me…..God bless you !!!!!!”

Friends who said they had a private chat with him have reported that he’s doing fine and recuperating in his home.

But who sent Sonny McDon message?

He obviously didn’t get consent from Sadiq Daba before disclosing his illness to the whole world. I wish Mr Daba a quick recovery.

Wish you complete cure sir. Leakamias are particularly chemosensitive. One of those cancers where complete cure is possible.

Will two cases of leukamia be sufficient justification to conduct research on what Yinka Craig and Sadiq Daba might have been exposed to, do they have any other colleagues that have had the disease? Just curious about what causes cancer#sad.
