“It was a mistake” – Ex Twitter Employee who deactivated Trump’s account | WATCH

Earlier this month, American president Donald Trump‘s Twitter account was deactivated by an unknown employee who was reported to have done so on his last day of work.

A certain Bahtiyar Duysak has now come out to confirm that he is indeed the person who deactivated the account and that it was an honest mistake. The German citizen was with Twitter on a student work visa working in the Trust and Safety department of the organization.

Speaking to TechCrunch, Bahtiyar explained that it was a mistake and apologized for any inconvenience caused.
