Music star Beyonce has been steadily killing her style game this Grammy Weekend – from the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy party to the Roc Nation brunch.
Last night as the 60th annual Grammy awards held, we couldn’t help but fall in love with yet another unique ensemble from queen Bey.
The 36-year-old singer sat front row with her husband JAY-Z and their 6-year-old daughter Blue Ivy for music’s big night held at Madison Square Garden on Sunday (January 28) in New York City.
Beyonce’s makeup artist, L’Oréal Paris Celebrity Makeup Artist Sir John, told People that the singer’s outfit was a tribute to the Black Panther Party.
This isn’t the first time Beyonce is paying tribute to the civil rights fighting group. In January of 2017, at the Super Bowl, she donned a similarly inspired outfit.
For the Grammys, Beyonce paired a cold-shoulder black turtleneck dress with a large black hat and statement-making silver earrings, finishing off her look with purple lipstick and dark sunglasses. Beyonce is wearing a custom Nicolas Jebran hat and couture gown, custom Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, a custom Judith Leiber purse, Jimmy Choo shoes, and Alain Mikli sunglasses.
