“We cannot run a political party by prophecy” – APC replies Father Mbaka

National Publicity Secretary, All Progressives Congress (APC), Bolaji Abdullahi

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said it cannot run a political party by prophecy, Independent reports.

The comment was made by the party’s national secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, who was addressing the comments made by Father Mbaka during his church’s cross-over service.

Father Mbaka, who was a staunch supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari during his 2015 campaign, had asked that the president not contest for reelection come 2019.

He described the president’s strategy for fighting corruption as archaic, adding that he was advised by “the Lord” to tell the president he shouldn’t “come out for second tenure” and “retire peacefully.”

Abdullahi, speaking to Independent, said a prophecy is a matter of “personal conviction,” and a political party cannot take critical decisions based on prophecies. He said:

We cannot run a political party by prophecy. Prophecy is a matter of personal conviction or personal belief. The party cannot act based on any kinds of prophecies because we are not operating on that. We only act based on what is politically correct. People are free to believe such prophecies but our party will not act or take critical decisions based on prophecies.

It’s the typical name-sullying which happens when former allies become foes.

APC has no other choice but to jump into the news with their inane selves just to return a “fitting” salvo. Sadly, there’s nothing entertaining about watching these jokers recycle their foolishness.

THis is 2018, We are tired of you APC. You guys are happy when the prophecy is to your advantage.
APC, you cannot run a political party on constant lies, deceit, manipulation and corruption. Be true to your conscience for once. Make Nigeria better.

SMH!!! Are they choosing to play dumb or just refusing to face reality? There is prophecy and there is prediction. What the Priest said is No prophecy, as even the blind can see it coming a mile away. The Priest only predicted what we all know is likely to happen come 2019. Epic response? ?…. Nope!!! Just plain bad PR as usual and foolishness still remaining the order of the day.

How does change or you will be changed translates into prophecy. It’s a simple statement. APC party followers are so insecure, do the right thing then.
If something is broken, either you fix it or change it. Buhari has zero accomplishment. well he traveled the world and spent months in London.
Nothing that he did to better the country collectively.
Whoever votes for him again must be an evil person
NO TO APC. NO TO PDP(they are all the same people)
