Diddy reportedly set to Offer H&M Child Model a Million Dollar Contract - BellaNaija

Hip Hop mogul Sean Combs aka Diddy is reportedly set to offer the boy in the middle of the H&M controversial ad a million dollar contract, Metro UK reports.

H&M has been heavily criticized after dressing a black child in a hoodie with the slogan “Coolest Monkey in the Jungle.”

People have described the brand’s actions as racist, with several people worldwide promising a boycott.

Popstar The Weeknd had said he was deeply offended and will no longer be working with the brand.

Rapper G-Eazy followed in The Weeknd’s footsteps, announcing on his Twitter that he’s cancelling his upcoming collaboration with H&M.

H&M had also released an apology on their official Twitter, writing that not only has the photo been taken down, but the hoodie has also been removed from their garment offering.

Metro UK reports that Diddy is planning to recruit the black boy to model for his own brand Sean John.

Diddy’s people have refused to comment when reached out to, but he had posted a painting of the boy on his Instagram, the hoodie this time saying: “Coolest King in the World.”
