A BellaNaijarian sent in videos and photos of a man who was allegedly attacked by Nigeria’s labour minister Chris Ngige.

According to the videos shared, Ngige allegedly beat the man with his “staff” till it broke, with his (Ngige’s) security restraining him at some point.

The alleged victim, a carpenter, who said he was asked to work on the land by his boss, one “Mr Tope” of PPIP LVI two buildings across an unoccupied land, said this occurred on Chibo Ofodile in Lekki Phase 1, the BellaNaijarian said.

The man said he was asked to stop work and he complied without hesitation, but the minister proceeded to hit him repeatedly with his “staff”.

Power corrupt absolute power corrupt absolutely. Man’s inhumanity to man. That’s exactly what Chris Ngige did to the man he abused with his walking stick to the point when his walking stick broke. Bloody Chris Ngige must pay dearly for this atrocity. A word is enough for the wise. I’m just saying

Meanwhile, this is the minister of LABOUR but he cannot treat another human with dignity due to the nature of his honest labour. Ngige, shame on you!! I hope he is brought to book for this. Wicked inhumane leaders.
