#TheGameThatDrives: Taxify celebrates #RussiaInLagos with a Football Match captained by Slimcase & Igwe Tupac

TaxifyIn celebration of the biggest football event on the world stage, Taxify is hosting a one-of-a-kind celebrity football match to deliver an unforgettable #RussiainLagos experience to all football fans in Nigeria. Specially themed #TheGameThatDrives us, the novelty match will be captained by energetic celebrities Slimcase and Charles Okocha (Igwe Tupac), guaranteeing an unforgettable match-day experience.

For a chance to participate in this ultimate faceoff match, football lovers simply have to register here and select whose team they would like to play on.  They will then be required to take a minimum of 7 rides on the Taxify app between now and July 11th for a chance to compete on either teams. The winning team would walk away with medals and a matchday prize of N50,000 (N25,000 in cash and N25,000 in ride credit) each.

According to Country Manager, Uche Okafor, “We at Taxify are excited about Russia 2018 and want to give our riders the chance to experience the excitement beyond their screens. As a lifestyle brand, we’re urging people to come out and show their football skills in what promises to be an exciting show out.

Side attractions would include a meet and greet session with the celebrities and a friendly match between Taxify driver-partners and staff. In collaboration with the #RussiaInLagos viewing center at Eko Atlantic, Taxify would also be handing out free rides to watch live matches at the #RussiainLagos village at Eko Atlantic.
