Watch trending video of Paul Adefarasin speaking against the Fulani "Colonizing Nigeria" | BellaNaija

The killings in the Middle Belt states have drawn several conclusions from Nigerians.

Paul Adefarasin, Senior Pastor of House on the Rock church, has given his theory on what he believes is the reason for the killings.

Speaking before his congregation, Adefarasin said there’s a plan by the Fulani to colonize Nigeria.

The attacks are evidently a land grab by the Fulani who have been invited in from neighbouring countries, he said, where they have not been allowed to rule.

They’ve been summoned to Nigeria, he said, to take over our land and continue the colonization kicked off by Usman dan Fodio.

At last ! Someone from the church talking. We need leaders of the church in Nigeria to talk a stand – just like Martin Luther King did during the civil rights movement in the US.

Actually, Bishop Oyedepo has been speaking about this since it happened. But it’s great that other leaders are lending their voices.

Difference is Oyedepo is biased in his opinions and submissions. He’s always been pro Jonathan and utterly conceited. I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him.

I don’t believe this, sounds like a conspiracy theory . Fulani people are not even intelligent enough to know and actually want to take over Nigeria. They are just wicked devil incarnates that the enemy is using to destroy Nigeria.

People who say this are people who have never seen outside lagos before. Before you say Fulanis are unintelligent, try and look at the past leaders and see how many of them are fulanis or have Fulani connect/backing and you’d be surprised. You convince a nation as big as Nigeria over and over and over and over again to let you rule them yet someone thinks you are unintelligent?

Let me just keep quiet before I ask how many really rich people come from your area and how many rich people are fulanis.

Intelligence IS NOT required to rule in Nigeria. Are the past northern rulers intelligent? No yet they have Nigeria around their finger. Buhari is not intelligent yet he’s ruling and has sycophants who are scared to tell the truth. Fulanis are vicious and blood thirsty. They took over the north, and plan to take over Nigeria especially as one of them is a president.

I can’t even believe Nigerians continue to be in denial of such wickedness taking place. Buhari doesn’t have Nigeria’s best interest at heart. The weapon U.S recently sold to him will be given to the fulanis.

Seriously – just to chip in on Crazyworld’s intelligence angle. You have to have some type of intelligence to be a Head of State/Prime Minister/President. Intelligence is required to rule Nigeria and it comes in different forms. Book smart, street smart, cunning, skillful, deft, genius, tricky and so on. To add to my comment below. the Fulani’s don’t want others to think they are smart/intelligent but frequently outsmart others.

Your first paragraph which I agree with, described different forms of intelligence. Not the book smart school of intelligence but other forms.

Right. There are different types of intelligence just like how there are different definition of intelligence.
Intelligence to me is when knowledge is properly applied. And Nigerian leaders, infact Nigerians collectively, Africans as whole lack such.
But I agree with how hausas/fulanis fake humility, and being naive, a tactic they have used for decades to deceive and have their way.

      Lovely response. Thanks.

Re-intelligence to me is when knowledge is properly applied. And Nigerian leaders, infact Nigerians collectively, Africans as whole lack such.

Isn’t that wisdom and being wise? Oh yes, Nigerian leaders are far from wise/bereft of wisdom.
There are many wise people in our country and in Africa but our leaders and other African leaders lack it. Corruption and indiscipline have eaten deep into their bones.

Re- Fulani people are not even intelligent enough to know and actually want to take over Nigeria.

That statement is akin to “the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.”

I remember what he said in the heat of 2015 elections concerning APC’s intention of islamizing the entire Nigeria. These were his very words :
“Nobody can force an entire nation into Islam . There are laws ”
This man here, is one of the people who foisted Buhari on this nation.
I guess they were all pushing the Yoruba agenda. And now it has backfired !

I care less. Buhari till Nigerians receive sense. Many of you pastors campaigned for that terrible man by your silence over his atrocities. If Buharis history didn’t trouble you enough to speak against his candidacy in 2015, he now has INEC chair is his nephew, security of Nigerians at the back seat, millions of PVC in the hands of his minions, the most uncollected PVC in Lagos??…..Accept my sympathy Nigerians……

If you guys are serious about kicking out Buhari, prevail on employers , associations eg traders and government to grant workers holiday for PVC pick up. Lagos workers are saddled with work and traffic. Little wonder millions of PVC are left uncollected as data showed.
