The show is focused on real married couples that are in the midst of drifting apart and Stephanie Linus and her team plan a series of daylong events to help rekindle their love.
With transformations, guidance and a once in a lifetime lavish and luxurious retreat, couples are set on a journey that will ignite new meaning into relationships.
The first episode was the story of Adetoun and Gbenga.
According to Stephanie, “we had so much fun hosting them on the show. I’ve been so touched by the wonderful feedback from viewers who watched it and I hope the remaining 12 episodes would touch your hearts deeply.”
She added:
Love and romance are two major pillars every couple needs to make their marriage work. The women, especially need this. After courtship, after the exchange of vows, after the babies start coming, a woman still wants her husband to be romantic and show her affection in that very special way. This is what Adetoun desired when she contacted us on this blog for a chance to be on the Make Me Fabulous Show. According to her, there was a lack of communication, lack of pampering, and lack of romance in her marriage. She complained that she felt old in the relationship and her husband was more focused on their baby’s upkeep rather than her. I was pretty sure we could do something about this situation and so we reached out to them to give them a fabulous treat.
