To the feminist women who think kneeling down brings them low lolllllssss sorry dear it doesnt and it still doesn’t mean a man is superior. Its shows love trust and dedication to this union that ” hey dear i trust you and am flexible to adjusting to any situation in this journey as we work this together. Afterall the men lay down to greet and in some tribes the men are even flogged.

Huh? It means the man is superior. Why are we lying? This is what it means. Stop adding curry and thyme to psyche yourself up. Just own it, please! Lmao! I mean this is simple logic. if it is about “flexibility”, why don’t men kneel for the women during the ceremony? Abi you think flexibility ati ‘adjusting’ is the exclusivity of the woman in marriage? This is tradition abi, and in tradition the man is SUPERIOR to the wife. Get over it. We will just be deceiving ourselves. Instead of you people to own it with your chest, lmao!

Gbemi Happy married life. I’m glad you did you. I don’t just like deceitful, romanticized speak. Women who don’t want to kneel should not kneel, and women who want to, should. But let’s not lie about the genesis of this custom.
