"The best man for the job in 2019 is definitely a woman" - Oby Ezekwesili kicks off Campaign | BellaNaija

Former Minister of Education Oby Ezekwesili has kicked off her presidential campaign ahead of the 2019 elections.

Tagging her journey #Fight4Naija, the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) presidential candidate wrote on her Twitter:

As we kick off our campaign officially today, we start with a thanksgiving service. For the grace to embark on this hard task of rescuing our country, for the wisdom and the guidance here and still to come, we give THANKS! #Fight4Naija #ItFormallyBegins

A statement released by Aisha Yesufu, the Director of Special Projects for the campaign organisation, described Ezekwesili as the best man for the job. The statement read:

The Obiageli ‘Oby’ Ezekwesili For President organisation – Hope 2019 – has issued official campaign photos as it kicked off the INEC-approved campaign season.

Hope 2019 campaign kicked-off officially on Sunday with a thanksgiving service in Abuja, after which the candidate will go to her home state, Anambra, to officially get blessings from the royal father and other elders of her community.

We are excited and we can’t wait. The best MAN for the job in 2019 is definitely a woMAN and this woman we know by her track record, will #Fight4Naija.

The angle she’s bringing is nonsense. Leave gender out of it you people won’t hear! The best man is a woman and she approved it? Just imagine if someone says the best human or person to do something is a man, how stupid does that sound?

Just stick the the ‘getting Nigerians out of poverty’ agenda but no, you must add ‘matriachy’ to it! Women alone cannot help you win, I hope you know that sha.

Leave her thats how they all think.
You can immediately tell the kind of laws she’ll be pushing and the things she’d be more focused on.

Men and boys have been dying and are still dying in the hands of Boko Haram, but that one doesn’t concern her. As long as its not a girl issue. its not her problem.
      Good luck to her.

My woman! Woman of substance, wisdom, empathy and integrity!!! If only Nigeria was ready for Madam Oby. But no, sadly, we are not ready for her revolution. 2019 may not be the year but maybe 2023 by His grace.
